Carol smiled down at her son who was currently asleep in her arms. She knew she should put him in his crib and go lay down and sleep while she could, but even though she was exhausted, she couldn't help herself. He was just so small and perfect; how could she possibly look away. She found it funny how something so small could bring joy into her life. She loved him more than anything else.
Carol let out a loving sigh and gently stroked her infant son's face with her finger. She couldn't believe it'd already been a month since she brought him home. Oh, how time flies. It wouldn't be long before he'd be crawling on the ground and babbling. Soon she'd be teaching him how to fight. Soon he'd be out and about doing his own thing and she'd be watching him fly with a smile.
