A/N: What was Blaine thinking during the Slushy/Blaine incident in season 3? I added some things that weren't in the scene originally so it's AU. I'm pretty sure Mercedes wasn't there, but let's just pretend she was. Just a oneshot…

Slushied

Blaine saw the slushy in Sebastian's hand. He was going to throw it at Kurt! Instantly he leaped in front of Kurt, managing to push him out of the way in the process and get red slushy all over him. As soon as it hit his face, however, he felt a burning pain in his eyes and screamed in agony as his entire side connected with the hard floor.

"Oh my god!" he heard Kurt gasp as he covered his eyes, trying to make the burn go away.

He continued to groan in pain; his side still ached from the contact with the floor but his eyes stung even more. He felt gentle hands grabbing at his arms.

"Honey, let me see," he heard Kurt whisper frantically.

"Oh god! It stings" Blaine growled, still keeping his eyes covered.

"Shh, honey let me see," Kurt shushed him gently.

Blaine didn't dare open his eyes though; he was in enough pain as it was and that would only make it worse.

"Blaine," Kurt's voice was trembling. "Come on, honey, just let me look at it."

"Oh god," Blaine moaned again, but reluctantly removed his hands from his eyes, but still kept them firmly shut.

"Here, shh, it's ok, just blink for me, sweetheart. Can you do that?"

"Oh god, Kurt, please don't make me do that," Blaine hissed in pain.

"Blaine, please!" Kurt was beginning to get worried now; after all he'd been slushied plenty of times and his eyes had never stung like this.

Blaine could hear the obvious panic in his lover's voice and let out a long breath. "Fine," he moaned again. As soon as he opened his eyes, the sting became more prominent, and instantly he bellowed in pain again and closed them and slapped his hands quickly back over his face.

"Ok, that's it; I'm taking you to the hospital," Kurt's voice trembled horridly.

"You need help, Kurt?" Mercedes asked worriedly.

"Yeah, yeah, help me get him to my car. Shh," he whispered soothingly as his boyfriend let out another moan of pain.

Once they'd gotten him settled in the back seat, Kurt drove off quickly towards the hospital.
