Andromeda couldn't believe her bad luck. She stared down at the small blonde haired little boy pulling on her long purple robes. She bent down to his level and looking into the grey eyes that belonged not only to the 4 year old boy but also to the man who married her baby sister.
"Yes dear?" She asked softly trying to keep her nerves at bay so as not to frighten the child. "I lost. You seen my moder?" He asked in a sweet childish voice. Andromeda smiled fondly remembering his mother at that age. "What is your name my dear?" She asked already knowing the answer. "Dwaco Lucus Malfoy." He said puffing out his little chest in pride. Andromeda chuckled before looking around the crowded alley for her sister. "Well Draco why don't we look together. Ok?" She asked him. The little boy grinned and nodded his head vigorously. Andromeda stood up and straightened out her robes. She took his small hand and began to walk his down the alley.
She began to feel nervous unsure how her estranged sister would react to her holding little Draco's hand and even talking to him. Andromeda hadn't seen her little sister for many years now and missed her terribly but she knew once she said 'I do' she had lost her family forever. As she walked past the apothecary she saw the unmistakable blonde with black streaks hair of her sister. She smiled at Draco in encouragement as they walked into the store. She held her breath as Draco spotted his mother and ran to her still holding onto Andromeda's hand.
Narcissa Malfoy turned around and quickly picked up the small boy as her eyes filled with tears. "Oh my sweet dragon! Where on earth did you run off to? You scared your poor mother." She exclaimed holding onto him tightly. Draco wriggled out of her grasp and slipped out of her arms onto the floor. "She help me!" Draco said grinning from ear to ear. Narcissa looked at the brown haired woman who brought her, her son and paled dramatically before sneering at Andromeda. "Andromeda. Thank you." She said coldly. Andromeda sighed wishing her sister wasn't such a snob. She nodded in acknowledgment.
Draco looked confused. "You know her moder?" He asked innocently. Narcissa sighed. "Yes. Andromeda used to be my sister, your aunt. But not anymore." She said coldly before turning around and walking out of the store. Draco looked back and waved with a smile on his face. "Bye Aunt Andy!" He yelled to an astonished but smiling Andromeda.
