Naïve

Hitsugaya Toushirou knew that the human hostess (Orihime Inoue) with whom he and Matsumoto were staying with is naïve, and ditzy, and Imaginative (with a capital 'I', yes), along with a thesaurus-full of adjectives which, at the end of the day, would never – could never – properly sum up this strange girl.

Naivety does not exist in Soul Society – that is a fact. If it does, it never lasts long, especially in the classroom-playground of Seireitei, largely filled with the offspring of power-hungry clans.

So when Inoue doubles back to the fire-exit door of the museum (why a Hollow would open a Garganta inside the museum's dinosaur fossil exhibition would forever remain a mystery to Toushirou) to pull a park bench against it, he found himself once again at a loss for words.

"Inoue, what are you…" A blonde and pick blur – Matsumoto – sped past him to recollect the ningen.

"Now, now Orihime-chan, Hollows don't use doors." It took three seconds for the words to sink in.

'She actually thought –'

The door behind them exploded off its hinges.

A/N: Perhaps you could catch the resemblance to a similar scene in The Mummy Returns? I do not own Bleach or The Mummy trilogy.
