Hola all, I'm so excited to write this story. I love both April and Phil Brooks, and enjoyed seeing them on WWE. I decided I might as well write about the couple I adore haha. I hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE or any characters mentioned in this story, or the song "That Home".
This is a place where I don't feel alone
This is a place that I call my home...
"Hey, it's good to have you home!"Punk called out to his wife as he walked into the foyer. April had just returned from a tour and was off for a week.
"It's good to be home." She smiled widely. Punk helped her gather her suitcase and brought it inside. Tossing it to his left he hoisted her up as she wrapped her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist.
"I missed you so much." He mumbled, quickly bringing his lips to her. She moaned softly as their lips collided, something they'd both been missing for a while.
"I missed you too. Every time I have to go on tour and leave you behind it kills me. It gets harder to walk out that door every time I come back." April confessed. She looked deep into the eyes of her new fiance. She really had missed the touch of his hands, the love and passion in his eyes, the simplicity of just being around him and being able to be herself all of the time.
"Then don't. Don't go again." Punk spoke up in a slightly joking tone. April narrowed her eyes a bit.
"Now you know I cant' do that Phil. I go wherever WWE wants me to go." He sighed and rolled his eyes, knowing that was the harsh reality he had to deal with. Ever since he had blown up and basically quit WWE, without making it official of course, they had seemed to make his life a living hell. With the all knowing company owners very much aware of April's engagement to Punk, it was like that had made it a mission to keep April with them as much as possible, leaving Punk to mope around the house all day, realizing that life he used to know was only reachable through a tv screen.
"Oh, don't give me that face, you know if I had it my way, I'd be here everyday with you." April pointedly looked at him, carefully scratching the back of his neck with her nails.
"I know baby. This is just getting hard."
"Well we both knew what we were getting into, and even though we both know that, also know that I love you, and I'm so glad to be back home with you." April's voice shifted into a soothing lure.
"I know baby, I love you too." Punk closed the small distance between them again. He hungrily bit her bottom lip, asking for entrance into her mouth. She gladly accepted and their tongues battled against one another. He took her deeper into the house, only making it to the couch before he dropped her and climbed over her.
"Let's go to the bedroom." April suggested, seeing as there wasn't much space on the couch.
"Too far." Punk quipped as she chuckled.
"So impatient." She muttered.
"Hey, I haven't had you for three weeks! My patience has been long gone." He remarked back before quickly ridding her of her shirt and lunging for her neck.

"Wow...I guess...you really did...miss me." April spoke between deep breaths. She cuddled deeper into Punk's chest as they lied snuggled together on the couch, only a thin sheet covering their naked bodies.
"Of course I did. I miss you every second you're not around." He chuckled, running his fingers gently down her bare side. She laughed at his remark.
"You're so cheesy!"
"Only for you." She smiled smugly at that. It was no secret that Punk had been quite that ladies man, to put it in good words, which was why she was so surprised when he had popped the question just a month ago. Sure she had wished for it when they were just dating, but he had said so himself a while ago that he didn't see himself as a husband unless their was someone really special to change his mind. She just figured she'd never be the one to do it. It was something she'd never admit, but she was proud that she was the one to beat all the others out, the one to be his forever.
"So what are our plans for this week?" Punk asked, looking down at his beautiful fiance. How he managed to get her was beyond him. They knew so much about each other, she knew every stupid thing he'd ever done, every deep and dark secret. She was his other half, and he worked hard to keep it that way. Of course he had been called a player, man-whore, womanizer, and anything else you could think of, but he didn't give a fuck. People could call him whatever they wanted, but he knew what he really was, and more importantly, AJ knew that.
"Well, I do have to go to the bridal shop with Celeste to pick out my wedding dress, and we have to start the guest list, but besides that, I didn't have anything else planned." They had decided to get married in June, which was just a month away. They knew it was probably the quickest engagement ever, but knowing more tours were coming up for AJ, they both agreed it was better to get married sooner rather than later. All they had yet to do was pick a day.
"Oh yeah, we still have to pick a day for that." Punk mumbled.
"Oh my god! We haven't even picked the date! How could we overlook that!" April shot up quickly.
"Calm down fire cracker. We'll pick one right now." Punk sat up and scrolled through the calendar on his phone, and a particular day flashed by."
"How about the 13th?" He suggested, not knowing if she'd go for that.
"13th? I mean, we don't have anything planned for that day, but why that particular day?"
"...It's a Friday." His small smile quickly morphed into a wicked grin. April chuckled, shaking her head.
"A Friday? You want to get married, on Friday the 13th?" When she said that it only drove him to the date more.
"Yes! I mean come on, it's Friday the 13th! That would be wicked."
"Wicked? Oh yeah, to have our wedding on a bad luck day would be so wicked." She sarcastically agreed.
"Exactly!"
"You're obviously not sensing the sarcasm."
"Oh come on, you know I don't believe in any of that luck shit anyway. Luck-"
"Is for losers." She finished the quote for him. He smiled and nodded, proud he had pounded that into her head. She sighed and couldn't help but agree that it would be pretty funny, and practical, considering it was early in the month.
"Alright."
"Yeah?!" He asked excitedly.
"Yeah! Let's get married on Friday the 13th!" She laughed.
"Yes!" He pumped his fist into the air, making her laugh even more. The sound was what he lived for, what he craved. He quickly pulled her on top of him, blowing just behind her ear.
"Stop! You know that tickles!" She giggled, playfully pushing him away. He pulled back with the biggest smile on his face, locking onto her deep chocolate eyes.
"I love you April Jeanette Mendez."
"Hey, that'll be April Jeanette Brooks to you soon mister!" She pointed her finger at him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you too."
So, how was that for the first chapter? Let me know what you think in a review!
