Daphne POV:

"Mom? Dad? Sabrina? Where are you guys?" I wailed into the cloudless sky.

I was at the Bus Station, alone and lost with just a small little candy bar to eat. What should I do? Call 911? No, what help would that do? Go to the nearest Police Station? I was so confused.

Haemus POV:

I was wandering around the Bus Station when something caught my eye. A girl about my age, (13) eating a small chocolate bar. She looked lost and was quietly sobbing. Casually, I walked over to her and sat right beside her, humming my favorite tune that my mom always used to sing to me before I went to bed.

Daphne POV:

I pretended to ignore the strange humming man who just sat down beside me.

"Hey, um, can I have a small piece of your chocolate bar?" he finally asked.

"Um, do I know you?" I was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. My mom always told me never to talk to strangers. He shook his head.

"Then?" I asked.

"Well, my mom always used to say that before doing a good thing, you should always eat something sweet," he said.

"Oh, how touching," I said sarcastically. Then I realized that he meant it. I silently groaned and handed him a piece.

"Just to get him to shut-up," I thought. He nodded his thanks and began to nibble on it. Then I suddenly became a little interested.

"But anyways, what was that good thing you were talking about?" I asked.

"I was thinking I would help you find your way home,"

I glanced at him shyly, "Alright."

He took my hand and began to escort me home.

"What's your name by the way?" he asked.

"Daphne, Daphne Grimm. Yours?"

"Haemus Todds."
