Sherlock paced furiously, his shoes clicking with each step on the wooden floor. His hands clasped automatically behind his back. "John," he frowned, whirling around.
The army doctor paused in tying his tie to see what could be the matter this time. When he caught the faint worry in his best friend's eyes, he struggled to suppress a laugh.
Sherlock squinted. "What?" he asked, nearly seething.
"What do you mean 'what?' You're pacing, Sherlock. Do you really think she would forget her own wedding day?"
A sharp rap on the door interrupted the two. "It's just me, boys," Mary called.
John ran to open the door. "Sherlock here is convinced Molly is going to leave waiting him at the altar."
Mary snorted. "Well, considering she sent me in here to make sure you were hereā¦" another chuckle escaped her lips. "You big babies, just wait till you see each other." With a twinkle in her eye, she waved herself out of the room.
John ignored his friend's antics until it was time for the ceremony. After nearly shoving Sherlock out of the room they were getting dressed in, John ran to where his wife was waiting.
"Mycroft's even here," she whispered, grabbing hold of John's arm.
As the ceremony progressed- at what Sherlock felt to be a snail's pace- his apprehension grew. What if she truly had realized how foolish of her it was to marry him?
Suddenly, the music changed to the familiar Wedding March. Sherlock felt his mouth twitch and he bit his lip to keep it from shaking. If Mycroft saw sentiment, the younger brother would never escape the ensuing jokes.
Molly was escorted down the aisle by Daddy Holmes, seeing as her own father had passed on years before, and when she made it to Sherlock, he couldn't repress the smile that flew to his face.
When the time came for the kiss, Sherlock decided ignoring the guests was a brilliant idea. Molly agreed, though she reprimanded him for the length of it. Two minutes hardly befit a wedding. Sherlock laughed and snogged her again.
A/N: I had forgotten this one! This also comes from my tumblr, rooroomc. It was the first sherlolly anything I ever wrote! I'm still happy I did, honestly. Tell me what you think, lovely readers. I love to hear from you!
