[[Hey, guys, sorry I've been gone awhile, many things contributed to my needing a break, Then I got carried away with other stuff, I won't get into it, but suffice it to say: Goa'uld are arrogant narcissists (coincidentally, so are the IOA), Replicators are the robots from hell, and the wraith are basically space vampires (which is only a little less than cliche). So once I got back to earth using the wormhole drive, I decided I'd get back to the Ponyverse (Ooh, that's good, I think I'll claim that. That's it, nopony else can use Ponyverse, it's mine XP... what? it's already taken? Oh well.), what better way than a short story, eh?]]

Iron blinked his eyes slowly, groggy from having been knocked out. He looked around, his vision starting to return, but saw nothing but the inside of curved, opaque glass right in front off him. He was lying on his back, on some kind of bed, at a slight, almost vertical, angle. It was a little cold, but getting warmer. Just when he was about to say "Where am I?", a female computer voice sounded in his ears, saying "Revival process: Complete, Total time in CryoSleep: 90 days, Vitals: Normal, Welcome back, Iron Lightning." Iron shook his head, "What the hay is going on, here?" he exclaimed, bewildered. Just then, the glass in front of him lifted and slid up, revealing the room he was in.

Iron found himself in a sort of laboratory, full of scientific equipment. Iron looked about the room, confused. That is, until he saw the figure standing at what he guessed was the control console. There stood a human, watching Iron wake up. Iron Sighed, a little frustrated. He got out of the stasis pod, standing on all four hooves, and wobbled a bit as he regained his balance. He stretched out his wings, stiff from 90 days of CryoSleep. "Hey, Iron," said the human "long time." Iron started a little, then looked up at him "What're you doing here?" he asked, sharply.

"Hey. What way is that to talk to your creator?" the human said, hurt

"Whatever, I guess I'm just cranky from 90 days in Cryo." Iron shot back

"Sorry about that, I guess I just needed a break or something." replied the human

"Right. And you thought the best way was to knock me out without any warning and just leave everypony wondering where I am?" Iron asked

"Again, I'm sorry, let's just try to get back into the swing, here, 'kay?" The human offered

"Whatever." Iron gave in.

"So, what about Fluttershy?" Iron asked, getting worried "Oh I hope she doesn't think I abandoned her."

"Don't worry, everypony there also took a break, in fact, you are the only one up right now."

"When will I get to see her again?"

"We'll see."

[[Yes, that means I haven't decided yet if I'm even going to continue that story at all.

Say "Please, give me more IronShy" in a review if you want me to continue, if enough people do, I guess I'll have no choice.]]

[[PS. Never thought I'd ever use the name abbreviation thing, first for everything, I guess.]]
