Miku stared at the back of her ex-boyfriend's head. He sat in the front of the classroom, his brown, spikey hair quivered just a tad as he tried to get into a more comfortable position. Hmph. Why do I care so much, I'm glad he's uncomfortable. Miku felt betrayed by him. He'd said yes to dating her to make Kairi jealous. Worst of all it had worked. He dumbed Miku, then Kairi walked up the very next day, and he said yes to her. Then the bell rang.
As Sora walked out the door someone shoved past him. It was Miku. She's still sore about that… Then Kairi walked up. Sora stopped thinking about Miku faster then a car stopped after crashing into a titanium wall. Miku looked back, Sora looked so happy with Kairi. She didn't really hate Kairi, or Sora. It just hurt to be used. In fact, as Miku thought about it she realized, I still love him. Being a song writer and singer she only really knew one way to work out feelings. Put them into the world.
Sora was walking Kairi home. He was his happiest with her. His best-friend, Riku, didn't even compare. Once Kairi was in the house, the mayor's house. Sora began the long walk home. Without even thinking about it he took a shortcut. One that led him right past Miku's house. She'd been adopted by a man by the name of Takenako, along with many others. Takenako had given most of them different last names oddly enough. Sora passed the sizely house, only to be stopped by Mikuo, Miku's twin brother. Sora wanted to run,but knew that Mikuo would just chase him, and Mikuo was the fastest of the boys. At first it was just a stare down. Until Miku walked up to the scene.
"So Sora why are you at my house? To apologize?"
Sora looked at Miku, he didn't want to say just passing by, but he didn't want to lie ether.
"I wasn't at first, I didn't think I'd see you, but because you're here, yeah, I would like to apologize, what I did was wrong."
Miku didn't respond, so Mikuo did for her.
"You really think that's enough!"
Sora looked to the ground. "No, I don't."
"Then get the fucking hell away from our house!"
Sora walked away, as he'd been "told" to do. Miku watched him leave, she was glad she had her brother to help her, but she could see Sora had be truthful about his feelings, he didn't like what he'd done, but he wouldn't leave Kairi for Miku. No, not for me. So he isn't that gilty about it. Miku went into the house, to her room, put down her backpack, and sat down to start writing a new song.
"Are you alright, Miku?" Mikuo put a hand on her shoulder.
"No, but I can make something out of this." She knew Mikuo was already going though the lyrics she'd written down so far.
"Any ideas so far for any cords, or a name, for that matter."
"No cords yet, but I do have a name… Love is War."
