My name is Amy rose and im a hedgehog. My mother died when I was three; my father got depressed and started drinking and having 4 hour long showers every day. Eventually, it was to much for my father to handle. He killed himself.

No one would take me in, no one wanted to love me and care for me the way my mother did. So I took a photo of my mum and dad and me, my favorite toy: a small blue cat, a tent with a sleeping bag, and left.

I ended up in a park. I don't mind living here, it is peaceful and a lot of food scraps are left in the bins.

Sonic. The worlds fastest hedgehog. He saves the world everyday, and became the worlds hero and number 1 celebrity. Everyone knew him, even me, a homeless 12 year old. Sonic was loved by everyone. His speed probably comes in handy when he has to get away from fan girls and news reporters.

Also, everyone says sonic is really cute, and sexy and handsome. And there right.

Sonic is my idol, I love him to bits. Everything about him is perfect. I know this because sonic visits this park every day and sleeps under a tree. I ant elp but to watch him.

I'm watching him now. Of course, he doesn't know im here, he doesn't even know who I am, but I don't want to go..

*yawn* HE'S WOKEN UP! I DON'T HAVE TIME TO HIDE!

"uhh…hello?"

I blush. His voice is so soothing.

"i-im sorry!" what else could I have said?

He's smiling at me, his smile is beautiful, like all the people say it is…

"are you lost? Cause if you are im your hedgehog!"

"n-no! I was just passing by,". I hope he bought it…

"hey,…I think ive seen you before…where do you live?"

HOW DO I ANSWER THAT!?

"I…live…..in a tent…" I shut my eyes. He's probably gonna have a bad reaction.

"a tent? But your only young!.....how old are you any way….?"

"im 12"

He stands up. So I decide to stand up to…

"where are your parents…."

I don't want to answer that…. " there dead….". I hope he doesn't over react..

"your….an orphan?". I didn't expect him to say that..

I nod

He hugs me. Now THAT'S unexpected… his fur feels so soft, his arms are strong but so perfectly slim….it feels like a dream.

I love him so much…

He pulls away

"do you want to tell me about it?.."

No one ever wanted to listen to me…..but the world famous sonic…does.

"yes.." I say.

We sit together and I talk about my whole life, how my mother died and what happned to my father, I explained how I felt and how no one wanted me…it was late afternoon when I had finished.

"you've had a tough life…" he says.

I see him think for a second.

"how would you like to stay at my place , you know until you sort things out…"

Did he…did he just say what I think he said…….HE DID! LIVING WITH SONIC THE HEDGEHOG! THAT'S LIKE MY BIGGEST DREAM! MAYBE I CAN BECOME HIS GIRLFRIEND! MAYBE PEOPLE WILL START TO LIKE ME! AND BEST OF ALL I WONT BE HOMELESS!

"YES! THANKYOU SONIC!"

He grins his cute smile "didn't think you knew me". I smile

"who doesn't know you! you're my idol sonic! To think me…a worthless little girl could live with the famous sonic the hedgehog!" I couldn't help but babble, after all it is the happiest day of my life.

And that is how me, amy rose became who I am today, a proud loyal friend of sonic the hedgehog. This is how my life truly began.
