Author's Note: I know I have not posted in a while but I hope to make that up today and in the next couple of days. I have had several stories wrote just have not had the chance to post them as one of my daughters has been in the hospital.

Aaron laid awake and watched the woman he loved sleeping. He couldn't stop the smile from spreading across his face as he watched her peaceful sleep. He reached over and finally shut out his bed side lamp but as he laid there he couldn't stop the thoughts that he had. He hoped that she really understands just how much she means to him. She was the love of his life.
If tomorrow never comes

He pulled her closer to him and wrapped his arms around her more securely and whispered in her ear "I love you Emily. Don't ever doubt that because you are the reason I'm alive and the reason I'm able to show Jack what it means to love."
He kissed her head as he finally felt his eyes drifting shut. He knew that Emily would know how much he loved her. He always made it a point to tell her repeatedly during the day even when they are at work. He knew that just in case tomorrow would never come for him that Emily would know just how much he loved her.

So I made a promise to myself

And avoid that circumstance

He held Emily through the night and when the woke up in the morning the first thing he said was "I love you Emily and I will always love you."
Emily smiled up at the man she loved with her whole heart. "I know you do Aaron and I love you too."
Aaron smiled and gave her a tender kiss before getting out of bed to get ready for work today. He knew that since he told her how he felt and she said that she knew he did that he would be able to get through today. He waited on her to finish getting ready before they left for work.

All throughout that day Aaron made sure to tell Emily he loved her many times. He knew that she was concerned but he just smiled and kissed her on the lips or on the head. He was alright but he would never tire of telling her that he loved her.
