AN: This was inspired by the seemingly endless amount of E/O Challenges cropping up today, all of which were Boston themed. This is not for the challenge, it just kickstarted my brain and spit this out.
Sam took a sip of his beer and settled into his chair. He scanned the smoky bar, settling on the group of men at the pool table. They looked rough, and he didn't feel like getting punched in the face for hustling pool, so he stayed where he was.
His eyes fell on Dean, currently leaning against the bar and chatting a girl up. She looked smitten, and Sam snorted into his beer. Yay, he gets to sleep in the impala tonight. Awesome.
He took a long pull from his bottle, intent on getting drunk so he wouldn't have problems getting to sleep in the cramped car.
"Jesus Sammy, slow down won't ya? You're ruining the curve for the rest of us," Dean said, slipping into the chair next to Sam.
"Shouldn't you be over there trying to get that girl into bed?" Sam replied, taking another long drink to spite Dean.
"About that. I don't know if I'm gonna do her," Dean said, glancing back at the bar, where the girl gave a little wave.
"Dude. What?" Sam asked in confusion.
Dean turned back to his little brother. "I can explain. Her name's Amanda, right? So I think I'm being real clever and I start out 'Babe, tomorrow's so far away,' thinking she's gonna think I'm awesome, 'cause who doesn't love Boston?" Dean stopped here like it was an actual question so Sam nodded.
"Right…"
"Course they do. Anyway, I practically get all the way to the chorus and then she's like 'did you write that?' I'm not even kidding Sammy, she asked me that," Dean finished, an expectant look on his face.
"That's awful," Sam said, barely containing a laugh.
"Shut up. It is. So now I'm debating. On the one hand, she's hot. On the other, she doesn't listen to Boston. So now I don't know if I want to bang her or not."
The brothers sat there in silence for a moment. "I think I'll bang her anyway. The hotness wins out," he said, standing up and heading back to the bar.
Sam rolled his eyes and drained his beer as Dean left the bar with Amanda. As he signaled a circling waitress for another beer he wondered if Dean realized his latest conquest had pale skin, black hair and blue, blue eyes just like a certain neighborhood angel.
