How Did I Fall In Love With You?
I was walking through the darkened town of Willow Creek, my old room mates moved in with me and my family. The house was crowded enough. With me and Envy, Wrath, Zoey, Emerald, Ed, Kanji, Ling, and Kachine. I was happy that my old room mates moved back in. But when Axel, and the others found out that Envy had gave me bruises, they weren't happy. They had told Envy: "You need to treat her better! She's only human!" But Envy being as stubborn as he is ran off. When I went to talk to him he ran off again...After the second time he ran off, I decided to take the wedding ring off. So I did, and I left it behind, I ran to my secret place and was crying. Wrath, my son, had asked me, if Envy and were still going to be together. OF course not wanting to worry him, I said of course nothing could change between us. But in the back of my head I knew we weren't meant to be. I had given up on trying to make him smile, and laugh. There was simply no point in trying anymore..
I was sitting under the only cherry blossom tree left in the secret place, at this point my face was tear-stained and my body was shaking. After hours of crying I got a call from Ling he said that Envy was missing. I got up and started to look around town for him, when I couldn't find him... I assumed the worst happened...He died. I ran to the park and sat under the tree where he proposed to me.
"How did I fall in love with you Envy? You never seem to care anymore...Did you really love me...or were you just using me for your own sick game! Well answer me! ...I'm just thinking this...Of course he doesn't love you...you're just a human...an annoying human in his eyes...Anyways, he hates you...Like everyone else...How...how did I fall in love you?...how...?" I thought. Those words echoing through my head: How did I fall in love with you? they wouldn't leave my head. I felt tears spill out from the corner of my eyes, making my vision blurry.
Hours had past, I didn't feel like moving, I held my knees to my chest the whole, crying wondering. As my cellphone rang I looked at the number, Ling. I didn't bother to pick up...Instead I just listened to the message.
"Zea! When you get this come home! It's important, and we need your help...Or at least Envy does." the voice changed.
"Z-Zea-chan...p...please come back...I-I miss you..." it was Envy, his voice was weak and hoarse. I stopped the message and ran to the house. Those words echoed though my head again.
"How did I fall in love with you? How... Love...You...I love you Envy..." I thought. As I got to the house Envy was laying on the couch. He was pretty beat up. Everyone was there, I sat next to him and held his hand as Kanji put medicine on Envy. By the time Kanji was done putting medicine on, he was completely exhausted. I was still sitting next to Envy keeping him company even though he was sleeping.
"How did I fall in love with you? A human and a Homunculus ...I know how...Your personality attracted me...And I'm glad we're married Envy-kun." I thought. I saw a smile appear on Envy's face as I whispered "And I always will..."
"I'll always love you too Zea-chan..." muttered Envy in his sleep.
