Disclaimer: No, I don't own Code Geass

This story is based off of the time when Lelouch is sent through C.C.'s memories in the World of C (you know, after which C.C. loses her memories). Please Forgive any OOCnesss

"Sh-she's dead…" C.C. whispered "…killed herself." Her body felt as if it had been torn in two. The only source of comfort she could find was a small pond in a forest near the church. The water was bitter cold, but on her feverish skin, it felt calming.

"And…she killed me," she began to sob, staring down at the geass shaped scar just below her left breast. "I should be dead!" C.C. continued to cry, letting her tears fall into the pool below and create small ripples that gradually grew to encompass her scarred body. No one was left for her. Not a soul would care for her. She already knew how much the townspeople had hated her only friend*; the one person who showed her kindness and love when all she had to give was sorrow and hate. All she had was herself, and she knew it wouldn't be enough.

"C.C." a clear voice rang out, causing the girl in the pond to gasp almost silently and look up from her dismay. Suddenly arms circled her. Someone had crouched down and hugged her. She could tell now, it was Lelouch. She looked down again. She was still in the pond, and her wound was still bleeding on her skin, but she felt no pain. The typical nonchalant features returned to her face.

"That's right… these are my memories, aren't they? But then, why are you here, Lelouch?" she asked, though already knowing the answer. As she came to her senses, she remembered that it was she that brought him here. Still he embraced her, and from the sight of his arms, C.C. could tell he was wearing his Zero suit.

"C.C., you aren't alone, and you never will be again. Don't you remember? We are forever accomplices, and I will grant your true wish." At this her eyes widened and Lelouch returned to the World of C. He had seen too much- she had shown him too much; let him delve too deep into her past.

C.C. hid herself away- she had to. Although it was not in her nature, she began to feel shame for betraying Lelouch, and embarrassment for letting him know her more fully. C.C. left behind only the fragile shell of the broken girl from her memories.

She hated leaving him behind like that, afraid he might see it as her "running away." But she quickly got over the feeling and was bewildered that she was beginning to care what he thought of her at all.

Still, in those last seconds, when she was falling through the air, and hearing Lelouch yelling out her name, she smiled. Through all of her years of suffering, she had forgotten that it was nice, having someone that cared for you, and even better to have someone that loved you.

"C.C. I don't know why snow is white, but I think snow is beautiful, and I don't hate it."

And even though she knew he wouldn't always be there, she let the feeling comfort her, if only for a little while.

There it is. Hope you enjoyed it. Sorry about the length, I'll try for more in the future!

*: Just in case only friend= Nun geass crazy lady

Also, towards the end C.C. is (for lack of a better phrase), becoming to "realize herself" again. That is to say, becoming more (for yet another lack of a better phrase) human. An example of this would be when she cares about winning or losing while fighting Kallen at the end of R2.
