Percy's P.O.V
it was the middle of the summer and I hadn't gotten a girl friend yet. it was so depressing. I was in a slump. all I would do was go out to the café and try to pick up a girl. It never worked. so I was done trying I just sat in my room playing game of thrones on my tablet and when I wasn't I would complain to my friends.
So one day my friends Luke and Grover dragged me off to a carnival. they took me on rides but I was in such a slump it all passed in a blur. finally Grover got up and said "Percy why don't we go to a fortune teller and ask about your love life maybe that will get you out of your slump'' well that made me perk up a little bit. hmm ask a total stranger about my love life? that sounds interesting.
''fine we'll go'' I said ''but its just to humor you''
''we're going to a fortune teller. great. I can ask her about me getting a car'' Luke said happily as he got up.
''come on lets go'' said Grover impatiently as he grabbed my arm and pulled me over to the booth.
'' hey wait up'' yelled Luke before he ran to catch up to us. when he did he said ''so what do you think she'll say? do you think I'll get a car or Percy will get a girl? ''
'' dude shut up its not helping his mood'' Grover whispered to Luke as he saw my shoulders slump.
It was quiet until we got to the booth. I looked up and the sign read '' madam Annabeth the fortune teller ''
