Hey! It's Wisheart again with another story, this time about Percy Jackson and those peeps. It's a collection of one shots about them, but unlike the other story I made about G.M.W, I'm writing this as if they were around a campfire in Camp Half-Blood, of course. So, on that happy note, let's began...
~Wisheart
Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Piper, Hazel, Leo, Jason, Thalia, Frank, and Clarisse, sat around the big bond fire in Camp Half-Blood.
The fire was about 3ft tall and was blazing with different colors. They all sat around to gather the heat, with blankets, marshmallows, s'mores, and each others stories. it was a little chilly out, so they all had on sweatshirts and cuddled with the others so they could share body warmth.
Annabeth cuddled up to Percy on a bench across from Piper and Hazel, who were wrapped in a blanket together. Clarisse sat on a log about 4ft away from them holding a marshmallow to the fire.
She let out a small groaned that she made audio able to everyone. Thalia, who sat on a bench next to her, rolled her eyes. "What's the matter, Claire, can't handle the cold weather? After everything we've been through I thought you out of all be could handle weather?" Thalia joked nudging her in the arm.
After all that they've been through, it's brought them closer together as friends and it made them feel all like family now.
Clarisse let out a snort sounding laugh, "No, I can handle it, I'm just so bored." Piper seemed to perk up about the news. "Hey! I have an idea, why don't we all tell stories, like memories? That way we can learn more about one another!" she said excitingly. "I'm cool with that." said Jason and Leo. Grover and Hazel nodded too.
"Don't we already know everything about one another?" Clarisse groaned. "No!" Piper shouted out, she seemed offended by this, "like did you know that I have a large make up collection."
"That's not news, but whatever, I'm despreate, so let's give it a shot." Clarisse finally gave in. "So, who goes first?" Annabeth said looking around. She laid her head back onto Percy's shoulder. Percy wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He placed a soft kiss on her forehead that still made her blush like an idiot.
It was a beautiful moment, until Hazel turned it into an embarrassing scene. "Awwwww," she sing-songed, "you two, are so cute!" Annabeth and Percy both blushed as their friends laughed.
"How about, Percy and Annabeth go first." Piper said.
"Okay," Annabeth agreed, "what do you want us to tell?"
Jason shrugged, "I don't care but it'll probably be something sappy." he laughed. Clarisse nodded at them. "Didn't you say that after college you two found an apartment together, that must have some stories."
Annabeth and Percy then broke out laughing. "Care to tell us what's so funny?" Thalia laughed at them. "Should we tell them?" Percy asked Annabeth between laughs. She turned to look at him with a huge smile on her face. She nodded.
When they finally calmed down, Percy looked at the friends that surronded him and gave them all a smile. He leaned forward on the log. "So this is how it started..."
Annabeth and I had just signed the rent for our apartment in New York City, and we had decided that we needed to repaint the walls of our bedroom, because-
"Ohhhhh, you're sharing a bedroom." Jason singed making weird kissing faces, interrupting the story. Annabeth rolled her eyes and blushed at the same time. "Very mature Jason, very mature. Can you just listen to the story?" Annabeth said rolling her eyes again.
"Yeah, come on Jason, was that really necassary. It was just getting good, and then you ruined it." Hazel huffed. Jason held his hands up as if he was getting arrested, "Sorry, I'm sorry." he said. He waved at Percy, "I'm sorry, you can continue, I'm sorry."
Percy narrowed his eyes, but continued on...
Because the color was boring and dull. So, we went to the store bought some light colored sea green paint that we wanted to paint our room. As a joke, I bought a small tube of grey paint, like Annabeth's eyes. We were covered with paint and we where playing some music from the 2000's era as we were painting the walls of the bedroom.
When we had finished all of the painting, Annabeth went out to get some food for us, and I took it upon myself to have some fun with Annabeth...
"Fun?" Jason said with a small smile. Annabeth however seemed ferious. She picked up a flaming log and chucked it at him regardless of the burns now on her hand. Jason screamed and shielded his face. The others screamed too at Annabeth for throwing it at him and at Jason too. However, Piper and Hazel just screamed for no reason really.
Right at the last minute, Percy uncapped his water bottle and sent the water flying toward the log. The water burnt out the fire and cradled the log. Percy guided the water so it would toss the log out into the woods.
Everyone let out a big sigh, especially Jason, who was holding his chest taking in deep breaths. "What in the name of Hades was that for, Annabeth?! You could have kill me, or worse, destroyed my face!" Jason shouted at her. Annabeth just glared at him angry. "There's more where that came from!" she said through gritted teeth.
She reached for another log from the bonfire, but Percy quickly swatted her hand out of the way. "Stop, Annabeth! You'll burn yourself even more than you already have. Here," Percy said taking her burned hand to show it to her. Her hand was burned pretty badly.
"See, it's burned. Let me help you." Percy said. Annabeth nodded, "Fine," she said. Annabeth and Percy got up hand and hand and walked towards the lake, so Percy could heal her.
The others just sat there taking in deep breaths, processing what had just happened. They returned with Annabeth's hand wrapped in Percy's jacket. Percy just had his Camp Hal-Blood t-shirt on now.g
"Okay," Percy said as he and Annabeth sat back down together. Annabeth cuddled up next to Percy. She placed her head on his shoulder again and he put his head resting on hers. "Okay," Percy repeated, "let's start again...
...not that kind of fun, but the fun, like a joke or prank.
So, I took a tube of grey paint, and took a smaller paint brush. On the wall next to the door, on the freshly painted wall, I painted a big trident, the symbol of Poseidon, you know. And then I drew a small owl next to the trident, symbolising some sort of more importantance scale.
Right as I finished, Annabeth had come home. "Percy, I'm home!" she shouted, "Where are you Seaweed Brain?"
"Over here!" I shouted. She walked in with a bag of food from some restaurant. When she saw the painting on the wall, she freaked out. "Percy," she screamed, throwing down the food bag on the bed, "what did you do? And why is the Athena's owl so small, and Poseidon's trident so big?" At first I thought she was pretty mad about it, but then she smiled and laughed.
"Let's do something about this." she said. We then painted the whole wall grey, and we painted a big owl on the wall with the same green blue color, holding a trident in his wing. Showing equality.
"I love you." I said, as we admired our hard efforts.
"I love you too, Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said quietly.
When Percy finished the story, they were all laughing, including Jason. "So, you're telling me, you painted a big trident ton the wall, permanently?" Clarisse said between laughs pointing at Percy. Percy nodded with a big smile on his face too.
"You should have seen Annabeth's face, priceless!" Percy smiled, "I think I even have a picture." Annabeth just blushed shyly next to him.
They spent sometime laughing and making roasted marshmallows. As the night grew deeper into the night, it got colder and they all huddled closer together near the fire. All of them having a lovely happy moment.
"Well, that's an interesting story," said Thalia with a huge smile, "so, who's next?"
They all looked at one another with a smile, wanting the night to continue on forever.
"How about Clarisse? You must have an interesting story in that little head of yours." Leo said pointing at her.
"Okay, I have a fun story about a Thanksgiving I once had," Clarisse began...
Hey guys! That's one story down, a lot more to go. If you have any ideas for stories they might have to tell, feel free to reach out to me! I'm going to try and write as often as I can be, but I'm also a busy person. Thank you for reading the first chapter, more to come!
