Kimiko watched as Chase cuddled there newborn baby, humming a tune to get her alseep. Just 3 short days ago she had been released from the hospital. And then just 5 short days ago she had given birth to their little girl, May.
Flashback:
"I hate you Chase! You did this to me!" She had screamed at him while pushing and breaking his hand.
"Come on sweetheart just a couple more pushes you can do it!" Chase had said to her and then kissed her forehead.
"I don't want to push this is your baby you should be pushing!" She screamed. And then less then 50 seconds a baby girl's cry had entered the room.
"You did it Kimi! You did it! I'm SO proud of you! Thank you! How can I ever thank you?" Chase said while the nurse handed him and Kimiko the baby.
"Name please?" The Dr. asked. Chase looked at his angel and she said "May. Her name is May" Kimiko was lying on the bed, exhausted from the long labor, while Chase was by her side looking at the baby toying with his finger. Chase had a smile on his face from ear to ear.
End of flashback.
"How can I ever thank you Kim?" Chase whispered while putting May in her crib.
"You don't need to." She whispered back and planted a kiss on his lips.
"I love you." Chase said.
"I love you too" Kimiko said back. "Let's go to bed." Chase whispered. He climbed into bed with his wife and wrapped his arm protectively around her. An hour later a baby's cry was heard. Kimiko had told Chase she would take care of it. When she got to May's room one of Chase's cats was in the room scaring May.
"Ugh…come on tiggy out." Kimiko said to tiggy. One the cat left the room May was fast asleep. Kimiko climbed back in to bed with Chase.
"Kimi, I never thanked you for saving my life. Until I saw you I wondered 'what's the point of living and eternity if nobody's there with you' and then I met you. You remember that first xiaolin showdown between you and me…and I accidentally scarred you? I never said I was sorry. Without you my life is nothing. Thank-you." By the time that Chase had said I met you Kimiko was in tears. She had never met anyone that cared for her as much as Chase. She knew without a doubt Chase would that a bullet for her. The Kimiko had a strange feeling to climb on Chase. She rolled over onto him and rested her head on his chest.
"I love you SOOO much." Kimiko said
"I love you to beautiful." Chase responded then they both fell into a deep sleep.
