James was a prankster
And Sirius was a hunk
Remus was the smart one
And Peter looked like junk
Pranking and trouble making
Was all they would do
Enchantment and hexes
That mad Snape go boo hoo

Is that practically every night
They were all in detention
James dated Lily
Yet the others stayed single
Oh what a joy
Let the wedding bells jingle
They named their son Harry
Oh what an ugly name
It sounded like a spider
Oh my what a shame
His hair was so messy
It was always untamed
Then in the future
He would be caned
They moved Godric's Hollow
The new mom and dad
And then came Voldemort
Who was really really bad
He killed James and Lily
With avada kedavra
But he couldn't kill Harry
Behind his candelabra
