Lindsay's P.O.V.
It was a beautiful morning and the sun was chirping and the birds were shining, wait that doesn't sound right. Oh well.
I pranced downstairs to the kitchen, my mum making toast and my father sitting at the bench top reading the newspaper. I have no idea why, I mean it's not even interesting, where's the gossip? Where's the fashion? Eh, I guess I'm different to him.
I walked into the kitchen got out a bowl, some milk and a box of cereal. Which was fruit loops, I loved them and the puzzles on the back of the pack are so much fun, but they really test your mind. That toucan sure is tricky.
I saw my mum had gotten the mail, I saw a brochure, my curiosity got the better of me and I picked it up and read the title. It said 'New shopping facility opening' my eyes scanned down the page and it said '11/11/2010' I let out a squeal, it was today!
My parents looked at me, wondering about my sudden outburst.
" look, look a new shopping complex with lots of new shops!" I squealed flashing the brochure to my parents, then pulling it back before they could actually read it.
My father sighed "this is going to cost me money isn't it."
"Only a little bit daddy" I said using my fingers to indicate how small it really was.
"Well…" He started before I jumped around in front of him squeezing my hands together in a pleading position.
"Please daddy, please, please, pleeeeaaaaase" I battered my eyelashes, blowing my bangs out of my eyes, seeing as all my sudden movements seemed to have disrupted my hair.
"Oh alright-" I cut him of a I squealed and pulled him into a bear hug.
" Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you" I was now jumping up and down.
"here you go" he said handing me my credit card that he had confiscated earlier that week.
"Really George, you spoil her" My mum put her hand on her hip.
"Oh come on Deirdre, she's responsible enough" I vigorously at his comment.
"You said that last time and she went and bought a Ferrari" oops forgot about that.
"But that was ages ago" he defended for me.
"It was last week, remember that's why you took away her card in the first place" my mum sighed.
"Oh but mummy I've learnt my lesson" Showing her my puppy dog eyes, although I never actually had seen a blue eyed, blonde haired puppy dog before.
"Fine, but Lindsay no more entering random competitions just because you get free lip gloss" I giggled that's how I got on Total Drama, where I met my boyfriend Tyler.
He lives around here somewhere, just don't know where. I think he told me, but I forget.
"Thanks mummy" I ran back up the stairs to get ready, it was going to be a fun day.
