Authors note: Alrighty…..so this is my first fanfiction ever posted to the site. So no criticizing, I would love feedback though! So I'm obsessed with Naruto/Naruto Shippuden and Neji and Tenten are my absolute favorite anime couple ever! So this story is about them. I own nothing. It would be pretty great if I did though!

For those of you who don't know, I am madly in love with Neji Hyuga. And the only ones who know are Hinata Hyuga (Neji's cousin), and Lee who is my friend and team mate.

It was a regular day for me, wake up, eat, train with Neji, eat, train some more and the go home and do whatever.

The day after that was what was weird. I got to the training grounds and found Neji waiting for me like usual. Except today he seemed kind of distracted. "what wrong Neji? You seem distracted."

Neji shook his head, "its nothing."

We went about training, but it wasn't the same. I pinned him twice in a half an hour. Usually I can only pin him once a day if that! I would have been proud of myself, but I knew I hadn't gotten any stronger lately.

He sat up and so I straddled him and put my arms around his neck. What's wrong?' I asked again.

"I told you, it's nothing."

"The why are you letting me sit like this?"

He finally realized what I was doing and pushed me off of him. The Lee came onto the field where we train running his usual 500 laps around the village. He stopped when he saw Neji and I sitting face to face instead of sparring like we're usually doing.

"Hey guys, what's up?"

"Nothing…" Neji replied.

"You are such a liar" I accused.

"How so"?

"First, I pinned you twice."

Lee looked shocked, "seriously"?

"Yep, and second, I strattled you with my arms around your neck and you didn't even notice."

"So…?" He replied.

I rolled my eyes and got up. I walked over to the tree I sometimes napped in. I sat on the lowest branch. Neji later came and sat next to me after Lee left.

"Do you really want to know what's bothering me?" He asked.

I nodded and probably blushed a little from him sitting so close to me.

He took a deep breath and sighed.

"YOU LIKE SOMEONE!" I blurted!

"How do you know that?"

"I can read your mind! So who is it?"

"None of your business."

"Are you sure about that?"

He glared at me.

"Is it Sakura?"

"No."

"Ino?"

"Definitely not."

That made me giggle.

"…Hinata…?" I asked a little creeped out.

"She's my cousin, Tenten. Do you really think I would do that?"

"No…" I giggled again. "It's a girl right?"

"No Tenten, it's a guy…" He said sarcastically.

"I'm out of guesses," I finally said.

"I don't think you are."

"Does she live in the village?"

"Yes."

"Do I know her?"

"Yes."

"Is she pretty?"

"Very."

"Is she a shinobi?"

"Yes."

Then it dawned on me. How could I have been so stupid? "I know who it is," I said in a hushed tone.

He smiled his cute cocky grin at me.

"Is it me?" I whispered

He nodded.

I jumped off the branch and waited for him at the base of the tree. He jumped off.

"I like you too, Neji! In fact I think I'm in love with you. Or at least that's what I've been telling Hinata and Lee for the past six years."

"Six years?" he asked.

I nodded. Then I got bored of standing so I sat down. Neji followed. When Neji sat down, I crawled over to him and sat on his lap, my arms around his neck. He kissed me. I was kind of shocked at first, but I got over it and kissed back. I felt his tongue run along my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I opened my mouth and our tongues fought for dominance. Neji laid me on the ground and crawled on top of me, never breaking the kiss.

When the kiss broke, I didn't want to get up so I put my arms around him and flipped him so I was on top. I quick kissed him again and got up. We left the taining ground hand in hand.
