A/N: Konnichi wa! I'm finally able to post up a hitsugayaxoc story. Even though this is WAY different then what I originally planned out for this story. But it's so much better so I won't complain.
Hopefully you'll find this story to be very interesting and unique (Even though it's short for now but it gets longer, I promise)

Prologue
He was under water…
But yet, somehow, he could breathe…
And unlike being surrounded by the coldness water usually brings…
He felt warmth…
It was strange but yet, very inviting…
He couldn't control his body; like he was in some form of a trance…
His teal green eyes fluttered closed, basking in the pleasant feeling.
Why did this warmth seem familiar?
Like…he's felt it before…
But...that couldn't be…right?
"Merge with me…"
The snow haired boy's eyes snapped back open and looked around him, trying to find the source of the voice that just spoke to him…
Nothing…
Giving up his search, the boy tried to swim up to the shore and started to get slightly worried when he found he couldn't move,
"There is no need to panic, love"
Again, the same voice from before. Where was it coming from?
"Merge with me…"
Sighing, the boy suddenly felt very tired and struggled to keep his eyes open,
He could feel the water wrap around him, as if it was trying to console him.
The voice began to hum to him, urging him to fall asleep.
"Dream my love, dream."
For some unknown reason, he felt like he could trust this person. He also felt comfortable even though the predicament he was in was questionable; which was very strange for him…
But her voice was so soothing; almost like a lullaby…
He was slowly losing his consciousness,
"Will you merge with me?"
Weakly letting his eyes flutter close; it was unknown to him that he answered back to the familiar voice as the world around him became dark,
"Yes."
A/N: I apologize that it's so short, boring, or possibly confusing. But hey, that's why it's a prologue.
Who's this strange voice Hitsugaya heard and how is it connected to him? Why does it seem so familiar to him? What did the voice mean when it said "Merge with me"? And, furthermost, how the heck did he end up underwater?
But, of course, all will be revealed later on!
Please, please, please, please, please, pretty please review!
I'm hoping that at least somebody out there will like this.
Also, to those who may want to see this story continue, I probably won't be able to update again till another week or two. Considering that my sister takes most of her classes online- I hardly ever get computer time. And when I do, I don't have a very long time to be on it.
You probably want me to shut up now right? :)
