Mitchie POV

Shane told me to meet him here by the lake, so here I am waiting and he still isn't here it's been like an hour why couldn't he just text me, I have school tomorrow which I have to be up early for, which I hate … wait, I see him coming. He was angry at me like I wanted to meet at the lake at night when it's cold not my "clever" idea any way he has been like it all week. So I asked him what was so important to be standing in the cold for, and he said he wanted to break up... "WHAT! Why, what did I do?" he looked like he couldn't be bothered to be here. He stared at me for a bit looking cool and calm and I am trying to hold back the tears that are threatening to let loose and he said "it just doesn't seem to be working out, I don't mean to hurt you or anything but it's just time to move on see different people." And he walked away just like walked out of my life, well I`ll show him that I don't need him.

*The next day*

6am my alarm beeped loudly waking me up and making me fall out of bed because it made me jump , great just great I have to go to school like getting my heart broken wasn't bad enough . Picking myself up off the floor and began to make my way to the bathroom to have a shower and get ready for a long day of school, quickly eat breakfast before making my way to school I step outside just to find that's it's snowing "great" I mumbled to myself before running back inside to grab my jacket and heading back outside. Getting to school 15 minutes early so decided to work on the song that I had been writing called "This is me" I was so deep in thought that I didn't see Tess coming my way and bumping in to her knocking my books from my hand "Watch where you're going freak" a smirk came across her face as she said "I heard Shane broke up with you, what he got bored with you I knew it wouldn't last" then tossed her blonde hair and walked away. I felt the rage built up inside me like a volcano ready to erupt, but all I could do was just hide it, wear a fake smile and walk away from her.

Later on during math as Mr smith went blabbing away, I felt myself starting to think about Shane till I realised what I was doing and quickly snapped myself out of it, I bet that's what he wanted me to be doing but I am not going to give him the time of day anymore. The bell rang telling it was time for lunch I just was about to leave the classroom when my teacher called my name.
