Light flashed within the windows, I sat up in surprise, and an earsplitting explosion filled my room.

I wrenched my comforter closer towards my torso.

I flicked on my lamp, but the light was gone, my breath stuck in my throat, 'what is this?'

(A/N A thunder storm you idiot. O.o)

Light permeated through the window again, only this time the deafening noise fallowed immediately after, I shot out of my bedroom, fear controlling my actions.

I scampered from my room, my electrical door remaining open behind me.

I whimpered allowed, flinging my line of vision in every direction.

I recoiled when the noise sounded around me.

The light blinding me shortly.

Suddenly a hand grabbed my shoulder. I twisted my body around suddenly.

Robin….

"Friend Robin? Is our home under siege?" I asked, darting my eyes around once more.

"No, Star." Robin chuckled, "it's just a storm."

I stared at him,

"Storm?" I questioned,

"Yeah, where it rains, and thunders and lightning?"

"Thunder? Lightning?"

"Yeah, didn't you have storms on Tameran?"

I shook my head, "No…"

Thunder sounded behind me, I jumped.

"Here come on" He chuckled again, he grabbed my hand and lead me into the kitchen, "I'll show you what to do when it storms,"

Robin went into the cabinet and pulled out cinnamon, sugar, and brown sugar. TThen he went into the fridge and pulled out eggs, butter and milk.

"You make cookies?" I asked.

"Yep, special recipe." he replied.

"Oh and they make the storm go away?" I smiled at the thought.

"No not exactly Star, they just make you forget about the storm."

"Oh?"

He smiled, "trust me."

I blushed, "all right"

He got out the measuring cups and a large bowl, "here Star add the eggs like this," he cracked one.

I repeated the task he showed me while he added the dry ingredients, "here Star, add the milk"

I did that while he added the butter, then he stirred them.

I cocked my head as he put some of the batter on his finger and into his mouth.

"here, try some" he took my finger and put it in the bowl.

I put it into my mouth, "it is very good, Robin"

Lightning flashed again.

"but I still remember the storm,"

He stared at me, seeming to contemplate something, the he leaned over to kiss me, his lips tasting of the raw batter.

He pulled back hesitantly, "how about now?"

I cocked my head, smiling jokingly, "how about what?"
