The dust was gone from the main square.

People were beginning to emerge from the shelters.

They began the tiresome task of rebuilding and repairing what had been destroyed just minutes earlier.

Suddenly a voice roared over the speakers,

" Back into the shelters! Alliance mobile suits are advancing on…" the voice was cut off at the same time as a earsplitting crack.

People panicked and began to scatter.

A sound like thunder shook the colony.

Two mobile, the only two left standing, were outnumbered one hundred to one by the Earth Sphere Alliance troops.

People began to cheer as they realized that the two suits were defending the colony.

A voice crackled on the taller suit's internal speaker,

" Heero, they are cheering for us."

" Hn."

" Very well." (Click)

It would be the last time they would speak for five years.

The battle raged on.

Suddenly, one of the suits stopped.

A hatch opened and the pilot collapsed on the ground.

The remaining soldiers raced to the pilot and began beating it.

After the pilot was unconscious, they began to drag it away.

The boy stood alone, watching.

His partner had allowed herself to be taken, but why?

As he thought, he murmured her name.

" Cosmos, Soul of the Cosmos."

He turned and walked away.
