A/N: Very short little one-shot, mainly Thor and Loki speaking after the death of Sigyn. I somewhat made my head-canon of Sigyn to be someone that held Loki together at times, so when she dies I assumed that he would just do want he wants even more. Well, that's it... Thanks for reading!
He looked towards the empty half of his bed that she was supposed to share with him. She was gone from him, forever. Loki couldn't fathom how he would continue his life without her. Sigyn had meant everything to him, he had taken her at the risk of displeasing his family back when that actually mattered to him. Sigyn was the only thing that he truly possessed on his own. He had won her, and she had accepted him. Her death felt like a second punishment, for crimes that he had already atoned for.
Down the hall and entering the room were the unmistakable footsteps of Thor. Loki did not even have to look up to see that it was his brother. Thor grimaced as he stared at his brother stroking the sheets that Loki and Sigyn shared. He knew that Loki would have been devastated at the loss of Sigyn, but he was more worried about what Loki would do now.
"Brother," Thor said, in an even voice, "I am sorry for your loss."
"What do you know of loss, brother?" Loki spat. He clutched the sheets in his pale hand.
"I will miss Sigyn as well, for she was my friend."
"Oh yes, because of your childhood acquaintance with my wife that automatically means that you understand the concept of 'loss'."
"Loki, she is in Valhalla with our ancestors. She is where she belongs."
"So, I will be eternally separated from her?" Loki asked, more to himself than to Thor. Long ago, Loki decided that there would be no seat from him in Valhalla; instead he assumed he would see his daughter in Hel. Loki rose up, letting the sheet slip through his fingers. Thor instantly regretted whatever he had said to Loki, for the malicious glint reappeared in his brother's eyes.
"I wonder where brother Baldr is?" Loki said, smiling slyly.
"Loki, if you act as the mortals have predicted-"
"Mortals? The Midgardians and their silly predictions!" he grunted. "As if their silly superstitious actually impeded us in anyway. No, I just plan on having a little chat with everyone, and then seeing Baldr."
"You plan for the Ragnarok!" Thor bellowed. "You wish to exact revenge on all for your pain!"
"I do not know what you could possible speak of, brother." Loki smiled, walking out of the room with his head held high and a plan in mind.
Everyone would suffer if Sigyn was not by his side. Thor could only hope to retrieve her before everything as gone.
