PROLOUGE

It was a dark day on Samus Aran's home planet. A monster was destroying everything there was, the family was hiding in an abandoned warehouse.

"Are we going to live?" 14 year old Samus asked.

"Yes," her pregnant mother replied. "Were going to get out of here and meet up Dad-,"

"Look out!" Samus yelled as a giant chunk of concert tore through the roof. Samus jumped out of the way, but it landed on her mom's leg completely crushing it.

"MOM!" Samus screamed, running over to her mom.

"g-get t-t-t-to th-the p-pod," her mother said, and with that she passed out.

Samus just stared at her mother thinking she had died. Samus started crying as she got up and walked out of the building towards the pod, she was the last one on. As the doors shut she thought about her mom and continued crying.
