Chapter 1

? ? ?, above the ruins of City A, Dark Matter pirate ship

"Geryuganshoop... What are you doing?" I calmly asked my second-in-command as I walked on to the bridge, my single eye watching him. Apathetically looking at him as he suddenly jerked his attention towards me, blinking once as he continued to panic. Personally, I was not too bothered by the explosions, alarms or the shaking of my ship, hulls could be repaired and crew members could be hired to fill the vacancies. Though if I heard correctly, he was worried about the fact Melzargard was taking quite some time in dealing with the survivors of our recent bombardment of the city.

"Lord Boros! M... My humblest apologies! One of the native inhabitants got on board... In four minutes, he has destroyed twenty-three percent of the ship and killed all warriors who faced him!" the psychic squid explained to me as he panicked, several switches and buttons being flicked or pushed by his rare power. Tilting my head slightly at him, unaware at what caused such distress, we have dealt with boarders before. Why was this one of any particular interest? They definitely seemed capable, but there have been similar situations concerning this. Albeit... They were never at the rate he had just described.

"The ship will not fall unless he destroys a Power Sphere, but he has only destroyed the Crew's Quarters. The lesser warriors will be of no use. You, Groribas and Melzargard, my top three warriors, must eliminate the intruder." I explain to and then order Geryuganshoop. My eye briefly looking over all of the technical information of my ships various consoles and computers. Hastily deciding that I was not going to find any interest in this fight. Oh how wrong I would find myself to be in the coming seconds.

Geryuganshoop panicked slightly, "I'll summon Melzargard! The two of us can beat him!" he answers as he turns his attention back to the communication equipment. My mouth and eye soon found themselves widen slightly at what had just happened. One of my best warriors and top lieutenants was dead? It was definitely a shock for me, as all of my top warriors at some point had rampaged aboard this ship, only to be dragged down by attrition or tricked into a hasty retreat. Groribas was one such warrior, his dangerous acid breath melted easily even through the hull of my ship. And my ship was known for its durability.

"What? Groribas is dead!" I say to no one in particular as Geryuganshoop continued to panic at his position. Quietly looking up at the four large screens in front of me, unmoving and still mostly apathetic to the situation. Silently turning around and walking out of the room with the image of a single, bald, native etched into my ever changing thoughts. Walking down the cavernous ship and straight towards my chambers, listening very carefully to the destruction that was happening across my vessel.

"Was this also because of him?" I ask myself in an uncaring tone as I kick a single artillery shell that was crashing towards me away from me. No joy was on my face because of such a feat, while if I was younger... I might have felt something upon getting that pest away from me. Now I felt nothing but boredom from it now, I knew I could do it, I've done it before and I'll inevitably do it again. That's all I wanted... To feel the thrill of combat once more! To feel like that something was threatening to beat me, to feel the thrill of a close but well earned victory.

Oh how I wish that this upcoming threat proved to be this challenge that I sought for so long. Twenty years have passed since the prophecy was given to me, twenty long and monotonous years of never getting what I have looked for. For all the fortress worlds that we navigated and brought to ruin, for all the war-fleets that hunt us throughout the great cosmos, even the children who I have sown terror and anger into... They never stand a chance. No opponent that ever comes to fight and hopefully kill me ever succeeds, the oppressive boredom is only supported by the fact so many are too weak to even beat my lesser warriors.

Looking up at the grand, monolithic door that stood before me, the final obstacle to my chambers, its familiar frame has laid undamaged ever since it was built. Not even Geryuganshoop for all of his power ever got this close to my personal part of the ship, even when our first encounter with him resulted in our ship being brought down into a local moon and slowly torn apart by him. He wasn't afraid to use his power then, he wasn't held back by fear and an ever rising doubt in his abilities. He had crushed and killed all of the inhabitants of the world we found him on, he reveled in the combat, the blood and burning metal of a now extinct race.

Despite all of his power, one punch from me to his face was enough to cripple him completely. From an out spoken and flamboyant esper of unbelievable power and potential (relative to his homeworld...), he soon devolved into a subservient lacky. Melzargard and Groribas never went through the same situation as him, Melzargard was always able to extert authority and engage in combat as our vanguard. Groribas? Well he's a plant... he never cared for anything outside of what he got for lunch, though admittedly... He did make one hell of a barbecue, regardless of what meats you gave him. I never really understood how his acid could make anything edible as long as it was diluted, such a strange thing.

Listening to the claaking of my armoured shoes as I walked into the chamber, looking up at the elevated platform before me. Using my hands to straighten up my cloak before I ascended the metal structure, stopping half way when I heard large bangs echo from behind me. Turning around slightly and watching with an uncaring face as the door that has never fallen fell in a most spectacular and rather explosive way. Carefully eyeing the bald individual that had just forced his way in from behind me, narrowing my eye and smirking slightly.

Was he a representative of this planet?

I sense an incredible amount of energy from this individual... Definitely more than what my restrained form had...

But by how much?

"You came a long way quickly. Welcome to my ship." I comment then greet at the man as I cross my arms over each other before hopping down on to his floor. Emitting a small amount of energy to make my landing go more smoothly before I began to walk towards him. Slowing down due to the appearance of a familiar squid-like creature.

"Are you the invaders' leader? You really did a number on City A." the stranger asked before he told me of what our opening barrage on the city did. I did not care for that, that was a feat I am use too, I wanted to see what he could do. But, it appears I would need to wait my turn it seems.

"HEY!" Geryuganshoop shouted in annoyance at the man before he began flinging metal fragments at hypersonic speeds at the man. Noting and smirking slightly at how much the man just didn't care for the flying rubble barrage.

"Huh? Flying rubble?" the man said out loud in confusion as he raised a hand to stop the shards hitting his dull face. Small explosions of shrapnel erupted around him as they either hit him or shattered on the floor upon impact.

"YOU HAVE WREAKED HAVOC ON THE SHIP! I, GERYUGANSHOOP, THE UNIVERSE'S STRONGEST TELEKINETIC WILL SMASH YOU TO BITS!" Geryuganshoop shouts in frustration as he begins to summon whatever small bits of rubble he has towards himself. Sighing slightly in disappointment, this man just made it clear that such attacks would be useless, and now he was going to repeat it? Perhaps cutting him loose is a good idea... He has lost his aptitude for combat.

"Telekinetic? You mean you're psychic?" the man casually asks as a tornado of rubble begins to surround my former underling. Counting the seconds it would take for this man to react, and preferably kill him.

"TAKE THIS!" Geryuganshoop shouts again.

{TELEKINETIC SHOWER OF RUBBLE!}

He then shouts once more with the desire to kill in his voice. I could sense that he was mirroring his old-self, but unfortunately... That was not enough.

"DIE EARTHLING!" he shouts for the last time before his torrent of metal shrapnel hit the unreacting man. The snapping and grinding of metal alloy's filled the room before it quickly died down like nothing happened to begin with. This is where we part, "I did it!" he says excitedly, completely failing to acknowledge that he had already lost.

"Hurling pebbles? What a waste of psychic power! Anyone can do that!" the man simply retorts before he simply flicked his wrist at the artificially created psychic pirate. Watching as the once proud warrior collapsed pitifully, easily mirroring his current state. Pitiful beings will die a pitiful death.

"B-But... I am Geryuganshoop... You... Cannot..." the squid muttered in tears and pain and he came to his realizations before collapsing. A feint aura sizzling off of him as his psycho-kinetic barrier disappeared, and soon... so shall his corpse. But now was my time, so I let off a small wisp of my power, fully intending on killing this man and leaving the planet content with the result that I had just achieved.

"You have defeated my subordinates... Most splendidly!" I tell him as a toothy grin forms on my face, my eye focusing on him and him alone. I could already feel my heart rate picking up in anticipation for our future fight. Our fight will come. And I will revel in it I tell you.

"Before we fight, tell me your name. I lead a band of thieves known as Dark Matter, I am Boros! Dominator of the Universe!" I tell him proudly as I hold my arms out slightly to add some flair to my approach. I wanted him to remember our fight, should he survive it of course. And I will remember his face, when I win and have his head beneath my foot.

He was rather short compared to me, coming in at roughly one-hundred and seventy-five centimetres or five-foot and nine inches. I could also roughly estimate his weight to be about seventy kilograms or one-hundred and fifty-four imperial pounds. Despite his bald head and rather relaxed looking body, I could see that he was a fighter. He had sharp features, finely developed musculature across his entire body, and his simple eyes... they held back something fierce, and it showed ever so much.

His costume was a plain plain yellow jumpsuit with a white-rimmed collar and a relatively large, presumably aluminium zipper. He also had a simple white cape attatched via two simple black pin like things. His hands and feet were both covered in a pair of shiny red boots and gloves of which seemed to hold the same proportions in terms of how much they physically covered their respective body parts. Then there was his black belt that was held together by a large brass contraption of sorts.

"I'm a hero for fu- I mean, I'm the professional hero Saitama. I don't know what the domino of the universe wants, but... You guys destroyed this city, so I won't let you get away with that." this Saitama replies with a slight tilt of his head and narrowing of his facial features. Keeping my own features still as I decide to tell him my tale, perhaps him knowing of my plight will encourage better dedication to the fight. Oh I hope it did that... and then some more.

"Want to know what I want? There was a prophecy." I simply tell Saitama. Grinning more at the fact that his body twitched at the mere mention of it. He seemed to know somewhat already.

"A prophecy? Do you mean..." Saitama began to say as he picked up on the breadcrumb trail that I had left for him to follow. His fist twitched some more.

"No one in the universe was left to face me... So I was bored. But then a seer said... I could enjoy a challenging fight on this very planet. That was twenty years ago. It took time to get here. My subordinates think the prophecy was a lie to make us go away. But it was true! SO EXCITE ME! IT'S WHAT I CAME FOR!" I tell Saitama with an increasingly loud tone, my sadistic side showing as I slowly approached him. I wanted combat, I lived for combat, and I will thrive in our upcoming combat. However, what I didn't expect was to suddenly get blasted away by a sudden punch to my chestplate. Shock filled me as I rocketed towards a pillar, smashing into it and creating a large hole in its structure, along with several large cracks into it, completely compromising its overall body. It will break should another impact like that hit it.

"Are you stupid? Attacking a planet just for thrills? Even the most bored office worker wouldn't think of that!" Saitama told me in disappointment as he criticized my freedom to search for a warrior who held the capacity to go toe-to-toe with me. Gently forcing my way out of the pillar before stumbling about for a few seconds before stopping myself with a firm planting of my right foot. Standing still and staying silent as my armour fell off of my quickly recovering body, twitching slightly as I felt my inner power rise up and slowly change me.

"You broke the armour that holds in my overwhelming power..." I tell him simply as the last of it falls off without delay. Small amounts of neon blue light began to show as my body rapidly hardened and turned black. Hunching over and crossing my arms as it began to crack and burst about me, letting out a bloodthirsty roar as I switched into action, my power blowing away and heating up the objects around me. Soon energy exploded out of me in a ball of heat and fast moving plasma bolts that scorched and distorted everything around me.

"Ok."

"Let us fight!" I tell him as I dashed towards him with a neon pink trail being left behind me before I went for a punch from my right. Smiling as he blocked it with little issue, before he began to backpedal away from me, in an attempt to stop him, I responded with a kick to his side. He was unfazed by it, and so we both continued as he retreated and I viciously pursued him, lashing out with powerful punches and devastating kicks.

Soon however, a strike from my left shin sent him flying into the air of tghis colossal room. Focusing my energy as I ran up a pillar and leapt at him, my right fist once again headed towards to his head, only to be blocked by his left arm. This soon devolved into me lashing out, propelling him and then chasing after him, only for him to block or get sent flying away. However, this started to come to an end after we both splintered pillars as we leapt at each other, an explosion of energy and kinetic force ripped through the air as we both landed back on the floor. I however was an arm short, looking at my arm in slight shock as blood spurted from my new gaping injury.

Looking at the soot covered man with a hardened glare, "You have withstood my unleashed power most admirably..." I tell him lowly. Both my eyes showed how much we were enjoying this, he has lasted so long already. He better continue in giving me this stimulation.

"Yeah. You're strong." Saitama told me with his monotonous voice as he lifted up his right arm and clenched his hand into a fist. A small nod coming from him as he ban to move again, then we clashed again in a flurry of wild punches, I was having to put more effort in however, being temporarily disabled in the fight. But I will with hold my healing factor for now... I wanted to test myself against such a capable opponent. Letting out a roar filled with hunger for battle before we once again began flying around the room and clashing.

Pink lights and globs of molten filled the room as we continued to clash throughout it, it was at this point I began to see that this man lacked any form of tactics. He was just so unbelievably strong that he was able to compensate for it, and I will take advantage of such foolish behaviour... So I reared my left arm back and sent it straight at his exposed side. The blow sent him straight into a pillar, and it shattered ever so easily before he was stopped by the one behind that one. Taking note of this, I rapidly climbed the collapsing pillar before springboarding off of it with my legs soon aimed directly at the unmoving body of Saitama.

Lucky for me and him though, he quickly regained his sense of touch and that and moved out of the way of my feet just as they hit and began to melt and shatter the pillar. Racing the bald man up the pillar and punching where I think he would go, greatly increasing the rate at which this pillar would fall. Just as we reached the roof, I managed to get a single grazing blow in, sending him up with a piece of my ships armour plating. Using energy to get myself up there with him, of where we soon began to trade blows with each other, quickly deteriorating the integrity of the armour plate we had around us. We soon both flew away then skidded from each other as the metal exploded into a few hundred pieces. Smirking more and more with each second.

"NICE MOVES! YOU'RE STRONG! YOU'RE THE FIRST TO EVER GO TOE-TO-TOE WITH ME! SAITAMA!" I shout at him in compliment to his capabilities. Knowing that the praise of tasks can sometimes encourage one to try harder. Narrowing my eye as I charged my volatile energy into my chest-eye. Opening it fully as a blast of glowing blue energy shot out towards him as it melted the areas near it.

"IF THIS MASSIVE RELEASE OF ENERGY FROM MY BODY HITS YOU, NOT EVEN YOUR BONES WILL REMAIN!" I tell him through a yell, amping my voice so it would be heard over my most recent attack that could of easily demolished this city by itself. Watching as the top half of my ship soon became engulfed in fire and slag, using the smoke as cover for my next attack. Carefully eyeing Saitama as he stood still in the heat and destruction. Soon I arrived right behind his unaware form.

"BEHIND YOU!" I warn loudly as I slammed the backside of my left hand into him and then quickly backing off to observe my handiwork. Smirking victoriously as he stood there unmoving, his eyes downtrodden and his pose stiff while his body was scorched and marked by battle. Cringing ever so slightly as I remembered the fact that I was missing an arm and that I haven't healed yet. Nodding to myself as it was obvious that I had now won, I would outlast him either way, be it healing or stamina.

"You were a worthy opponent! But the end is near. My species survived the struggle for existence on a harsh planet. We possess the greatest natural healing in the universe. And I have the greatest healing, physical performance and potential energy of us all. In seconds, I can close a wound that would kill you. Concentrating energy in my destroyed arm generates explosive energy... AND IT'S BRAND NEW! Meanwhile, your wounds merely increase as you gradually weak-" I began to monologue, demonstrating just how potent my healing was as a new arm burst forth in a scab like substance. Shaking it off before he suddenly cut me off with a sharp tongue.

"Aw, shad up! Enough jibber-jabber! Are we about done here?" he somewhat snarkily replies as he brushes himself off. Showing that he was in fact uninjured and fine.

It was at this moment that I found myself against a metaphorical wall as my heart suddenly skipped a beat at knowing that I was nowhere near done here.

Brilliant...

Most splendid...

GIVE ME STIMULATION!

"No... Not yet." I told him simply and darkly as a sphere of energy surrounded me as I planned on taking this up a notch. My body once again began mutating as I was about to unleash my full power against this man. This most wonderful of all men... Saitama.

{METEORIC BURST!}

I chant loudly before I adjusted my position and charged straight at Saitama with the intent to leave him a burnt skeleton and ash. A direct punch hit his face, and outwards from behind him exploded a blast of energy that was several leagues stronger than my earlier energy blast. This time instead of just damaging the top mostly, I knew that I had effectively just gutted several layers of my ship with city incinerating firepower. He went flying, an expected result, and so I gave chase.

'Meteoric Burst achieves speed and power beyond the body's limits...' moving my knee into position and getting ready to hit him.

'By releasing internal energy as a propulsive force.' hitting him directly in the gut, an orb of energy appeared before I then shot him off into the reaches of the void above this planet. Damaging my ship even further... but that was alright... I'll salvage any crew members and supplies and build another, then we will go to one of our many stashes and fund the creation of an even more powerful vessel. It would be befitting to name it after my strongest opponent... Yeah... The Saitama...

Collapsing slightly as the burden of this form overcomes my body, 'Like anaerobic exercise... This places a large burden on the body... So I only use it to end a fight quickly.' I think to myself as I breathed heavily, looking about my damaged spacecraft as I tried to calm myself. But it was difficult, that fight was the best fight I have ever experienced... To be done with it so quickly...

Suddenly something hit the ship at speeds I was familiar with in combat, the boundries between light speed and several magnitudes higher than a sonic boom creating speed. It was him...!

"Whoa... I made it!" Saitama said in relief as he emerged from his freshly created crater on my ship. Turning towards him and glaring as my heart began to pump once more and demand combat!

Yet for all I tried earlier to calm myself... I now only cared for hitting him with everything I had!

Another battle cry came from me before I began running at him for the last time, I will end it here! This will be my final hurdle! This was the last few metres of the marathon! THIS WAS THE EPITOME OF MY EXISTENCE!

Unleashing a flurry of various kicks and punches, each one forced to contain all my energy and direct it into him. Coughing up blood and choking in pain when he punched my chest-eye directly, partially blinding me in the last segment of our fight. Skidding along the still sturdy plates before I stopped. Looking at him with the truest smile I have ever had on my face.

"UNGH...! YES...! YOU ARE INDEED WORTH DEFEATING!" I barely get out in my pain before Saitame closed the gap and unleashed an attack upon my ruined body.

{Consecutive Normal Punches!}

He says simply as dozens of punches cause my body to explode in a shower of gore and the remaining force tore apart the metal behind me. Flattening the topside even further. Looking at him as I decide on my final trump card, I will use it and defeat him! Was all my thoughts were filled with as I forced myself back together with a gleeful smile.

"IN THAT CASE...! I HAVE ANOTHER FINISHING MOVE! I'LL RELEASE ALL MY ENERGY TO BLOW AWAY YOU AND THE PLANET'S SURFACE!" I tell him for quite possibly the last time as I hop up and begin channeling every last drop of my energy and preparing to fire it at him. The energy that was being built up was easily akin to that of the nuclear fusion of a sun as plasma bolts leapt out everywhere and burnt every last thing left up top.

{COLLAPSING STAR, ROARING CANNON!}

I shout out as the energy focuses around my mouth before I released it into a single beam of immense power and strength.

Well, I've got...

A finishing move too...

{Killer Move: Serious Series! Serious Punch!}

That was all Saitama said before his punch not only nullified my attack upon impact, it went beyond and split the heavens and me with it. Collapsing to the floor as a blackened husk... unable to heal myself, as all my energy had been spent on fighting this man.

"Have I... Lost?" I barely get out as a serene feeling washed over me. I had just got what I wanted... if I still could... I would have probably cried in relief at the fact I had learned of true happiness.

"Are you still conscious? You really are strong." Saitama complimented as he stood there looking at me.

"As the prophecy said it would be... It was a challenging fight." I quietly tell him.

"Yeah... It sure was." Saitama told me... It wasn't true...

"Heh... You're lying... You had strength to spare. I barely even fazed you... Heh heh... Prophecies are unreliable... You were too strong... Saitama..." I barely get out before I felt the last of my strength fade away. And soon my last eye closed for the last time... Or so I thought. In a single flash of platinum light, I found myself rejuvenated and back together. Shooting up in pain as I looked about...

Looking about in confusion of where I was, I wasn't on my ship, dying from Saitama's final blow... I was in some form of castle... Surrounded by nothing...

Greetings... Lord Boros...

Something called to me as I turned around rapidly, completely naked in my restrained form and in unkown territory.

Now... I know what you're thinking... Where am I? Who are you? Why do you rob me of a warrior's final rest?

You're in the Nothing... My fortress to be specific...

You may call me... Equilibrium...!

And why? I grow bored, Lord Boros... So I took you out of your home Strand and now I'm going to place you in another to observe your actions...

Stimulate me...! Dominator of the Universe!

"What? Where are you!? Get out of my hea-" I began to say before once again finding myself in unfamiliar surroundings. In a body that was similar to that of Saitama's and watching a female of his kind walk away from me. Looking about in worry as I noticed the large burn mark on the floor and the mess of blood and some brown hair... What!?

"Hey, Boros-Kun." the stranger asked me with a heavy amount of familiarity. Something that angered me... I did not know her! And I did not care to know her! But I didn't want to cause a scene in unfamiliar lands... So I just acted somewhat normally. I lacked the strength to fight at the moment... My mind was still worn from my encounter with Saitama...

"Yes...? What is it you need?" I asked her cautiously as I steeled myself for whatever she was. While I could not summon my power... I could sense this strange energy from her...

It was golden... Yet it was plagued with a dark cancer...

"Can I ask something of you?" the girl asked me without much care before she span around. Her cheeks red with blood from the blushing that she was doing... But I do not know that... Our kind didn't blush... Why did I know this!?

Why did I know her name!? A home? A school? A park!? WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME!?

"I was wondering if you'd die for me." this Yuuma-Chan asked me in an ever so contradictory manner. She demanded my blood to be spilt and asked sweetly...?

"I beg your pardon?" I ask her as my head swarmed with unfamiliar knowledge and places... Things I have never heard of or touched... Rituals I have never practised. My mind was distracted, and I was about to pay dearly for that.

"I was wondering if you'd die for me. These few days I've spent with you... Have been a lot of fun." Yuuma-Chan told me as a pair of black-feathered wings sprung from her back. While a spear of energy formed in her hands before she then threw it directly at my gut. Snapping out of my trance before angrily glaring at the giggling girl before I grabbed the spear and pushed it out of me.

"You'll pay for that wench..." I tell her angrily as I began to stumble towards her while bleeding out. My blood began to glow a feint light blue every now and then, but I could not call upon my power or healing factor. So she slapped me down and sent one more spear into my exposed spine. Stopping me from getting up.

"Fufufu... Got some spunk in you have we? And here I thought you were nothing but a high-school pervert... How interesting. And kinda hot to be honest. Sorry about this. You're a threat, so I needed to take care of you quickly. If you want to blame someone, then go ahead and blame God when your soul meets him... After all... He is the one who imbuded your body with a Sacred Gear." She mockingly comments as she walked away giggling. Digging my hands into the path as much as I could and attempting to crawl after her, only to receive a shock from something. Looking to my right as a weird being made of pure white crystal appeared and placed its gemstone fingers on my head.

Rest Lord Boros... Your journey starts here... So I am actively weakening you so you don't leave my parameters... Don't worry, she will take you in...

The being told me as its song like voice echoed in my head again... This was Equilibrium... Yet despite me seeing it and some red-head. The new girl did not seem to see it... What kind of power was that? To be able to manipulate power and senses to such a degree. Silently glaring at this newcomer as she knealt by me with a chest piece in hand...

Chess...?

"Now this is very interesting... Fu-Fu-Fu... You have... Well, okay. Let me salvage your life." the girl said as her powers seemed to begin warping at my very existence. What was this!?

"Live on for me." was all I heard before my eyes closed. A strange warmth surrounding me as I fell asleep in the cold enviroment of the unknown.

Dominator has now become a little bitch thanks to the powers of a Bored Omnipotent Being. Or B.O.B. :V

I'm using manga Boros by the way, so any comments going on about how I nerfed him will be ignored u-u

Thoughts and such go in reviews.

Fuck... I gotta stop making new stories...
