Prologue
Life sucked, Persia had thought many times as she remembered her past.
She had stopped being Spider-man a couple of years ago. Life had become too difficult for her to continue that role. Since she had become Spider-man after being bitten by a radioactive spider at the age of thirteen, her life had been nothing but misery.
A couple of months before she was bitten her aunt had died, then after she was bitten her uncle. That was the reason why she decided to become Spider-man, a hero, to save others. There was also a reason why she allowed herself to be called Spider-"man", it was because the people of New York City weren't as sophisticated as they pretended to be, especially when it came to female hero's. Plus, no one could tell she was a woman underneath the costume she had made, filling in the areas to make her look like a man, she even changed her voice as well as other things.
It worked remarkably well, until he died in her arms, Ben Reilly, he was everything she could ask for as a brother, like Eddie had been before Venom took him over. Her memory was somewhat clouded, but she had remembered being angered by it, enough so that she had almost beaten the Green Goblin "Norman Osborn" to death, in doing so made her friend Harry hate her superhero identity. He took the same serum his father took, but drank it instead, though it made it stronger it killed him in the end. The list continued to grow...
Two years later, she appears at Westchester New York City.
Okay, sorry about this. I've finally finished this chapter to the point where I won't be updating this chapter anymore and moving into the rest of the story.
