My heart had been closed off for so long, I thought I'd never see spring again. An eternal winter came, everything froze inside of me. Everything die in me, including hope.
Then you came along... and entered the maze that was inside of my heart. Many entered, though none succeeded, but you did. In a world so full of lies and deceit, you've shown me there is hope, that there is good in this world. I thought I would always carry the past with me til the day I die, but you came along and untied all the knots inside of me. You saved me from myself, and I have no idea how to repay you...! I think that was when I realized I was starting to fall in love with you.
You've given me the reason to keep going, to live, to believe the good in people. You are the strength that keeps me fighting. Without you, I'd never be the same.
It's been a difficult path that I've made, but you've broken all my walls. You've been my strength, so strong. Perhaps it was your tenderness that made me a better man to myself.
