Leia looked at the data. "So Artoo, this holiday you discovered. Where exactly is it from?"

He went into a technical rant and she finally asked him what it was about. He went into another technical rant, and she decided just to sit down and listen.

Weeks later, she gave it to Luke, Threepio, Chewie, and Han in a nutshell. "Artoo found several files on some foreign HoloNet, and there is a wonderful holiday called Christmas coming up on their calendar. Artoo did some more digging, and it's an interesting religious holiday. I think it would be fun to celebrate. Just decorate the houses a bit, what do you say?

"It doesn't much matter what we say, does it?" asked Han.

"Of course it does, but I'm going to celebrate no matter what. And you're going to help me decorate. After all, tis' the season, right?"

None of them understood, but that night they were all as excited as Leia. Particularly Jenna and Cole. They were running around singing christmas carols completely off tune like the four-year olds that they were. Leia and Laura were baking something called cookies, and the falcon was aglow with red, green, blue, and white lights. There was a tree in the corner, and Leia was constantly begging Artoo for more details, so much so that he barely left the interception device. Eventually a second astromech was acquired for the job, and much to Leia's delight,(and Han and Luke's dismay,) Pinterest was discovered.

Then the issue of Santa was found. Jenna and Cole were dismayed to find out that even with a decent hyperdrive, there was no way the old fella could stop at their houses. So Han agreed to pose as the saint.

It was Christmas Eve, and Jenna and Cole weren't anywhere near sleepy. They were eventually gotten to sleep through the use of the force, and Luke was just as tired as they were by the time he was finished with them.

"Look at your boys, Laura!" exclaimed Leia, pointing to Luke and Cole. They were both passed out on the floor in the guest room of Han and Leia's house.

"I don't know about Cole, but if I've ever met my husband, Luke won't be up until noon after pulling that stunt." Laura smiled down at her sleeping husband and son. Han was asleep in a chair, fully decked out in his Santa costume. Leia pinched him.

"Time to wake up. Mrs. Clause made cookies," she said.

"Don't scare me like that!" he said, jumping out of his chair. "And for the hundredth time, what are cookies?"

"They're delicious."

"Then I'll try some. Why am I even wearing this thing any way?" he asked. "The kids are asleep. And so is Luke, like I still should be." Leia pecked him on the cheek and handed him a gingerbread cookie.

"Mostly so that we could take a picture," Leia and Laura admitted," but if you want, we could make you wrap presents."

"No way," he said, and the three laughed.
