Origin: Ashita Kuru Hi is the title of a song from a favorite show of mine. It roughly translates to "The Day to Come Tomorrow".
Summary: Sometimes you stop and get lost deeply into the past.
The flowers bloomed in spring and summer unfolded in the sky with the warm faces surrounding him, the ones in his distant memory. The Master who held her hand, the Woman who smiled into the sky, and the Pet who soaked in the serenity. The cherry blossoms always sparkled by the thousands and drowned all three in their thoughts. The Master's voice was soft and pulsating, radiating with the environment. The Pet was safe with his master, and the Woman's hands gripped the Master's hands tightly. Joy.. and sorrow. Joy and sorrow..
That was boundless joy.
The blossoms disappeared and the voices whispered into a dull moan. The Pet's eyes opened and looked back to the sewer's muted colors and four bulky shadows approaching him. They were discussing the day's events, quite pressing it seemed, and gently gained their master's attention through his foggy mind.
The master listened intently to his Students and of their confrontation with the one who stole his joy. Sorrow had long since made its place into his family and it was time to end it. The conversation continued with the master mostly nodding and thanking his Students for the revenge's success. As the Students returned to their own affairs, the master stared into their backs and wondered if a new joy was rising from the sorrow's ashes.
