There's a bluish night sky, with foggy clouds. You can hear a hum from within the skies. Emerging from the clouds is a jet with azure colors. On the inside, the jet has the same colors, and sitting in one of the chairs, is a bizarre old man. The man has on a black suit, with white gloves, and a black tie. He had a very long nose, blood-shot eyes, and a mischievous grin. His eye brows were black, but he had white balding hair, with pointed ears. Standing next to the old man was a girl, who seemed to be in her late teens. She wore what looked like a flight attendant's outfit. It was a white blouse, with the sleeves stopping to her elbows. Over the blouse was a blue vest. The vest had a golden pendent, with a V printed on it. She had a skirt that stopped above her knees and blue high-heeled shoes. Her pantyhose were a very dark shade of navy blue. They seemed to be looking at someone sitting in a chair opposite from the old man. The man smiles and speaks. "Ahehehe, greetings dear visitor".
BGM: Aria of the Soul
Bizarre Old Man: Welcome to the Velvet Room.
Bizarre Old Man: My name is Igor. I am delighted to make your acquaintance.
Igor: This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. It is a room where only someone bounded by a certain contract may enter.
Igor: It has been a while since we've had a guest here.
Igor: This must mean you have an intriguing destiny. Let's see . . .
Igor summons a deck of cards on the table in front of him. The cards are scattered in an orderly fashion. He flicks his hand and a card flips over. The picture on it appears to be a damaged tower struck with lightning and people falling out of it.
Igor: Ah the tower is in the up-right position.
Igor: This means a terrible tragedy may befall upon you. And you must try to prevent it.
Igor: This card is accompanied by . . .
Igor flicked his hand again, and another card flips over. This card has a picture of a ram's head in the red portion and two horned people in a whitish portion. The red portion is seemed to be in the shape of a heart. The bottom part of the heart looks as if it's made out of chains, while on the top of it has a pentagram.
Igor: Hmmm!?
Igor: The Devil . . .
Igor: This may mean that an evil entity will be the cause of the tragedy. You must try to stop them, at all cost.
Igor: Though this may be a difficult task, please know that you are not alone.
Igor: There will be people who will aid you on your journey.
Igor: Ah. I have neglected to introduce my assistant.
Igor motions his hand to the girl that is next to him.
Igor: This hear is Eve. She is a resident of this room, such as myself.
Eve give the visitor a smile and gracefully bows.
Eve: Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you.
Eve: I shall be accompanying you throughout your journey.
Igor: We are done here for now. The next time that you come, will be on your own accord.
Igor: But before you leave, would you please be kind as to give us your name.
The visitor closes their eyes, and then looks at Igor and Eve.

Characters:

Protagonist*: The main hero of the story. Igor tells the Protagonist that they are destined to fight an evil entity.
Igor: A Velvet Room resident and it's proprietor. He is a doll made by the god Philemon, though wonders if he's merely a doll or even human. Throughout the years he has helped out many other Velvet Room visitors by giving them enlightening advise.
Eve*: Another resident of the Velvet Room and Igor's newest assistant.
