It's a simple life. 13/02/09
Hi, I'm Elin and I'm 12 years old. I'm in year 8 and I live in Cardiff, Wales. I have a sister called Branwen. I'm a year 8 pupil at Ysgol Plasmawr. I walk to the bus stop with my friend Megan everyday to Grange Gardens, its VERY cold at the moment since its winter. When we get on the bus we sit near the back and our closest friend in year 7, Honey, talks with us. On some days, when we have our mobiles, we take photos of each other, but today we just talked unfortunately.
'Hey Honey!' me and Megan said together,
'Hey Megan, hey Elin' Honey said
'What's up?' I asked
'Oh, Nothing much' Honey said
'Well if you excuse me, I'm going to listen to y MP3' I said while getting my mp3 out of my bag. I scanned through my playlist, looking for the song I want, found it! I thought, the song playing was Decode by Paramore, I just stared out of the window listening to the lyrics, Not this time, how did we get here?, I used to know you so well.
Just then Honey and Megan were looking at me weirdly,
'What?' I said suddenly self-conscious
'When you listen to music you look like a depressed emo' Honey said
'I know, you said that like every single day since Tuesday!' I said, 'Anyway does it matter?'
'Yes it does' Honey said sarcastically, Megan just burst out laughing. Just then our best friend Anna walked on the bus.
'Happy Birthday, Anna!' Megan said happily
'Thanks' Anna told her
'Happy Birthday Anna!' I shouted
'Happy Birthday' Honey said
'Thank you' Anna told me
'So what did you get for your birthday?' Megan asked,
'I got a new camera and iTunes vouchers' Anna said, 'I wanted an iPod touch but I got a camera instead'
'Cool, and too bad about the iPod touch' I said
'Yeah, but I'm more exited to see who gets what for valentines today than my own birthday!' Anna said
'Same.' Megan said
'I'm hoping to get a rose from Sean' Anna said smiling
'I'm sure you'll get one' I said
'Aww, so what are you listening to?' Anna asked.
'Supermassive Black Hole' I said holding the screen of my mp3 to her 'what are you listening to?'
'Cool! I'm listening to I caught myself' Anna said.
'Cool, I love that song!' I said. Just then we near school grounds so I tuned my mp3 off and stuffed it in my bag, I grabbed my P.E kit from the floor and walked off the bus with Megan, Anna and Honey.
