In the silent streets of Twilight Town, a man about twenty walked alone. The man was tall, and his name was Axel. Axel let out a sigh as he came to a sudden stop and stumbled upon a piece of paper that was floating in the gentle breeze. The red-head stepped on the sheet and picked it up.
Axel let out a small chuckle as he saw a detailed drawing of two boys holding hands. Although he couldn't see the faces, Axel had a flashback of himself when he was ten and a boy that was about six with blond spiky hair in a park.
'That was odd...who was that other kid,' Axel thought to himself. After that he just shrugged and continued to walk to the train station. The tall male still thought about the flashback.
'Man, that was almost ten years ago,' he thought.'I feel awful that I can't remember what that other boy's name was or what he looked like.'
After a while Axel noticed a shiny object lying on the ground and so he picked it up.
[Flashback
Ten year old Axel walked over to the blond boy. The young green-eyed boy handed the blond a bracelet and stated, "Now we can be best friends forever." The blond nodded and they laughed as they hugged.
Axel stood back up leaving the bracelet behind. 'That was strange...I wonder who that boy was,' he thought. The tall man arrived at the station and bought a ticket to the other side of town to meet his brother. It wasn't a very long wait, but there was a crowd of people getting on board so Axel had to stand. Not to much longer, the train started on its route and peoples mouths started to babble. Of course Axel, being himself, was annoyed by the amount of noise.
He seemed to notice a blond boy, about 16, standing next to him. As the train shifted to turn, the blond fell and Axel caught him.
"Are you Okay?" Axel questioned.
"Yeah, I-I'm okay, thanks." The blue-eyed boy answered.
"My names Axel, by th way. A-X-E-L, not A-X-L-E. Got it memorized?"
"Uhm, sure." the blond blushed.
As the train trotted along and with the annoying pedestrians rambling on, the males had interesting conversations about relatives, books, food, interests, and hobbies, all of which ended up leading to talking about squirrels and their nuts...
After about an hour and a half the train was just about empty. The train came to a screeching halt and the doors flew open.
"Well this looks my stop." The blond sighed.
"Oh...Okay, well I'll see you around, I guess?" Axel asked.
"Yeah, I'd like that." the blond's face turned red and he headed out.
The blue eyed male turned around slowly and said something that made Axel remember.
"By the way...
My name is
Roxas."
And the doors shut.
