It's True
Edward and Bella had been friends for eight years now- ever since they were six. Edward started at his best friend next to him under the shade of the large oak tree. The more he looked at her, the more beautiful she became. Her brown mahogany hair framed her soft, heart-shaped face; her chocolate brown eyes sparkled in the rare Forks sun. He never had looked at his best friend like this before; he now wondered why he hadn't.
"Hey, Belly?" Edward addressed his friend.
"Yes, Eddie?" Bella responded back, she smiled at the use of the old names they called each other.
"Did I ever tell you how beautiful you are?" Bella blushed; nobody that wasn't a family member had called her beautiful before.
"No," Bella responded. Edward then took Bella's face in his hand and kissed her sweetly. Edward leaned his forehead on Bella's and the whispered "It's true."
