AN- I've been in a Rico mood for the past week and I need to express myself (and procrastinate from studying) so you guys get this little fic. I may have doctored the definitions to fit the story and be more different, just to clear the air.
Hope you enjoy and sorry for the shortness!
1. to dislike intensely or passionately; to hate the enemy;
He hates her. He hates her stupid fiery hair and emerald green eyes. He hates the fact that she's the only girl who can out-sarcasm him in any retort war. He hates her smile, with the dimple on her right cheek and the way her eyes twinkle in a certain way if the smile is really genuine.
He hates that she can paint; monsters, scenery, her and him, campers. He hates seeing the dream world so close on paper but so far in life. He hates that she's fucking gorgeous, with a body to kill and a personality to boot. He hates that she's smarter than most of the girls he fools around with and can hold his attention for longer than a day.
Nico di Angelo hates Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
2. to feel extreme hostility.
She hates him. She hates that he's taller than her and that he has a crooked smile. She hates that his eyes are always so guarded unless he's with her; then his life is an open book that only she can read. She hates that he doesn't always talk so sometimes they sit in silence and silence is just what she needs once in a while.
She hates that he's attractive. Broad shoulders and a six-pack to boot. She hates that his strong arms make her feel safe and warm, despite his cold demeanor. She hates that her head fits just right in the crook of his neck and that their bodies are almost like missing puzzle pieces-locking together in an absolute perfect fit.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare hates Nico di Angelo.
3. the object of extreme aversion
He hates being near her. Really he does. He hates that he can smell her perfume or her body wash whenever she sits next to him. He hates how warm her body feels; especially when she falls asleep during movie night and her head is resting on his shoulder. He hates that her hair is really soft whenever he decides to take a nap too, or that her skin is extremely smooth whenever her arms brushes up against his.
He hates how her arms feel, wrapped around his stomach, her body pressed up against his back as they fly through the city on his bike. He hates that traffic is terrible at one in the morning, so he's always forced to take the long way and endure those arms and that body for longer than he should.
Nico di Angelo hates being anywhere near Rachel Elizabeth Dare.
4. to be unwilling; dislike: I hate to do it
She hates spending time with him. She hates having to sit next to him on the couch when Percy has a movie night and being forced to share the popcorn with him. She hates that he's the only other person who makes comments during movies and that they're usually chuckling at the same joke.
She hates that he has to be the one to clean the attic all the time; that he sees her paintings (andherhopesanddreams) all spread out on the canvas. She hates that when she needs an emergency ride back to school, he's usually the one who offers and she hates riding behind him on that goddamn motorcycle.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare hates being anywhere near Nico di Angelo
5. intense dislike; extreme aversion or hostility.
But mainly, they hate the way that it's so easy to fall in love when they can never be together.
AN- Meh, was it as crappy as I thought? I just needed an outlet and this little baby was the ticket. Hope you liked despite its intense sucker-y.
