"When will this all be over?" Brennan sighed as she sat down onto her apartment couch.
"Soon, Bones, soon. Remember, seven year contract." Booth reminded her as he took a seat next to her.
"I know, but still…"
"What?"
"Well, I hate how I cannot speak directly to the camera about the forensics. I mean, what if the watchers of this show don't understand some of the forensics linguistics? I mean, you don't even understand most of the forensics, and-"
"Bones, don't worry about that. I'm sure that there would be subtitles for the squinty parts. But is that really the only thing that you are worried about for this TV show?"
"Yes," she stated with a little head nod.
"There isn't anything else?"
"Well," she smiled, realizing what Booth was referring to. "There is one thing…" and with that Temperance Brennan kissed Seeley Booth on the lips for much longer than five steamboats. "I do hate how we can't do that anytime that we want, like when the cameras stop filming."
"Me too Bones, me too. Poor viewers, we're not supposed to so that it gives them angst, remember what that Hart guy said?"
"Yes, he just spoke to us yesterday, Booth. Of course I remember. He said that he wants the viewers to be yelling at their television sets, wanting us to get together. Which I find completely ridiculous due to their television sets not being able to hear them, and they should be focusing on the forensics, which is what the show is about, and we're already together."
"Yeah, poor viewers," Booth said as he leaned in to kiss her again.
