I'll always be with you.
Simba and Nala sing 'I'll always be with you' (all dogs go to heaven2) when Simba is about to die from old age. I own nothing.
"Nala….stay with me….please?" Simba asked weakly.
"Of course Simba. I'll never leave you." Answered Nala, crying.
"Come here, please, I gotta tell you something." The once great lion king said to his mate.
"Yes, my love." Said Nala, still crying.
"My time is almost up; I will join the great kings of the past, my father, grandfather and the others." Said Simba softly, weakly nuzzling Nala.
"Please, don't leave me, please." Whispered Nala, crying into his once rich red mane, now streaked with grey.
"Nala, look at me."
Nala looked up to see Simba's eyes full of hope, she hadn't seen in a long time.
"I will always be with you, makes no difference where your road takes you to, even if we're apart we'll be join by the heart, our love will see us through, you and I will still live on."
Simba , nuzzling his mate once again, remembering the time day he and Nala met in the jungle after his father's death.
"I will always be with you, I'll be by your side whatever you do, other memorises may fade but the ones that we made are eternal as a star, now I'm apart of who you are."
Nala remembered the day her and Simba took Zazu on a wild goose chase as cubs.
"And I'll be there with you in the sound of your laughter, I'll be in the tears you cry."
Both remembering the night they ran through the meadow in the jungle, and the night they lost they're son, Kopa.
"Cos', the way you and I have touched one another, doesn't end in goodbye." Both sang, remembering the days they played as cubs and as adults.
"I will always be with you," Simba sang then Nala joined him "like a guardian angel, constant and true. When your lost in the night (lost in night) and you can't see the light (can't see the light). My love will see you through. "
"I will always be there." Simba whispered putting his paw over Nala's heart.
"you'll have me there." Nala whispered putting her paw over Simba's heart.
"I'll always be with you." They both whispered, as Simba slowly fell to the floor.
"Simba? Simba wake up! Please! Don't leave me!" Nala screamed nuzzling his limp body.
"Simba! You can't die! What about me and Kiara?" Nala tried waking him up again but he fell back down.
"Please…." She whispered before lying down next to her fallen mate, as she lay under his forearm, she heard the faint sound of Simba's voice saying; "I will always be with you."
A/n: wow that was sad *sniffing*, but it's natural. Poor Nala, my heart goes out to you. I planned for Simba and Nala to sing a duet on his death bed, and the song fit perfectly. I will be working on my other story as well. As for now, tootles.
