It's something that still takes my breath away and makes me just stand still for a moment and imagine what my life would be like without all this. The rush, fear, the fans. I know that I could lose it all tonight, but this is something I have to do.

Standing in the wings, I take a look at the crowd where a few familiar faces catch my eye. My parents and my brothers, all sitting, waiting for me to go out and perform in front of all these people who follow me with so much loyalty and love. It's the first time in a long time since they all got to see me doing what I love at the same time. I try so hard not to think of how they will see me after tonight, my dreams haunted with falling tears, cries of pain and shame in our family's mother tongue, there's a high chance that this moment right now, seeing them so happy together, happy for me, may be the last happy memory I have with them for a long time, who knows, it may be the last ever.

I look away, my eyes searching for the one person in this crowd that I want to see more than anyone. I don't know if she is even here tonight, I wouldn't blame her if she stayed away after what I put her through. But whether she's here or not I have to make this right. Tonight everyone will know the truth; the entire world will know exactly who I am. Will know that I'm not just Santana Lopez, the heartless bitch from Lima Ohio who's musical dreams came true. They will see I have other dreams, dreams that I didn't even know I wanted until I had them and felt what it was like for them to be taken away. Now I have to get them back.

This is it, my one moment to put myself back into my new found dreams.
