Big Time Kendall Knight

We all know Kendall Knight. Blonde, bushy eyebrows, doesn't give up easily. You never hear a father mentioned. What ever happened to Mr. Knight?

At the beginning of this story, the Knights live in Vermont then later move to Minnesota.

On the morning Kendall Knight was born, something was up with his father, Karl. He wasn't acting the same. He was different, to say the least.

When Katie was born, Kendall was three. Karl was acting like his usual self, unlike when Kendall was born. Mrs. Knight,
Kathryne, had no idea what was going on with Karl. Karl was acting like a dead fish when Kendall was born. Now, with Katie here,
he was overjoyed.

Later, Kathryne decided to ask Karl what was wrong. He kept having mood swings or something.

"Karl?" Kathryne asked, "What's been wrong?" She walked into the bathroom because she thought he was in there. He wasn't.

"Mommy!" Kathryne heard Kendall scream from across the hall. "Mommy!" Kathryne ran into Kendall's room down the hall. When she got into his room she gasped.

Karl was standing over Kendall with a knife over him. The tip of the blade on his neck lightly, ready for the strike. "Karl," Kathryne panicked, "What are you doing?"

"I didn't want a son, Kat!" He yelled with a crazed look in his eyes.

"So you're going to try and kill him?" Kathryne asked, still panicking, "Karl. Put. The knife. Down. Now."

"No, Kat. This boy is going to die tonight. And then, we can live a happy life with Katie." He said, trying not to stab Kendall yet, Karl wanted Kendall's death to be slow and painful.

"You're crazy, Karl!" Kathryne screamed, she wanted the phsycotic man away from her son, "Put the knife down and give me my son!"

Kendall whimpered, "Help me, Mommy."

Karl put the flat of the blade on Kendall's cheek, "Quiet! Don't talk! Not a word!" Kendall squealed.

What Karl didn't know that when Kathryne heard Kendall's scream, she grabbed the pistol that she keeps under the bed.
Kathryne took the gun out from behind her back and pointed it at Karl.

"Kat, what're you doing?" Karl asked, "You've never shot a gun. There's no way you're going to hit me."

Kathryne was hyperventalating, "I told you to let go of the knife and give me my son. I'll give you one more chance. Give me Kendall, unharmed."

Karl laughed dryly, "I'll never give you him. Alive." With that, Kathryne pulled the trigger. The bullet hit Karl's leg. Karl fell to the floor, the knife impaled into the wall. Karl wasn't dead, Kathryne knew that. They had to move fast.

Kathryne ran up to Kendall and sweeped him up, putting his head to rest on her shoulder, "Hey, Baby," She said, bouncing up and down, trying to calm him down, "You're okay now, Baby. Mama's here. Everything is going to be fine. We gotta go. Far away from here. Do you understand?" She felt Kendall's head nodding on her shoulder. She could feel tears running from his face. He was still scared to death. She didn't notice, but she was cying too.

Still holding Kendall in her arms, Kathryne went into the room next door to Kendall's to get Katie. Katie, shockingly, was still sleeping. Kathryne grabbed Katie, and with two kids in her arms, hurried down the stairs. Kathryne got her car keys and they went out the door and into the car. They drove to Kathryne's mother's house to stay the night and the next morning, they began their drive to Minnesota.s
