Results of boredom in math class II
Kneeling on the floor, in front of a throne made of stone is a girl
She has tears streaming down her face yet she is smiling,
"I am no longer alone" is her only thought as the sound of boots on he floor greets her ears
She looks up from the floor as she sees a pair of black boots in front of her
There is a new voice in her head now reminding her that her brother has lost
"Your brother has failed to win you back so now I own" you the voice repeats
"I know" are the only words that pass through her lips.
Suddenly the man kneels before her he gently lifts her up to face him,
"I know what happened to you and why your brother chose to lose." He said his multi coloured eyes revealing only kindness.
"And what pray tell do you think you know?" she asks her face calm while her eyes show anger
He only smiled at her anger for he knew that she was hiding something behind her anger
"I know that you were attacked and never got over it."
He watched her closely as he said this
She managed to keep her face calm but still a few emotions were revealed through her eyes
Then she fell over in a dead faint.
He bent over his messy blonde hair falling over his face and picked her up.
He then carried her over to his throne and set her on it
Then he disappeared.
Slowly she opened one eye, seeing she was alone she stood up and decided to explore.
"I wonder where this goes" she thought as she came to a set of large oak doors.
She opened the doors and came face to face with the man
"Jareth" she breathed
He only smiled and led her into the room.
He then sat down unto a chair and motioned for her to do the same.
"So are you ready to talk?" he asked.
She just sat there, her face revealing nothing except for the emotions running through her eyes.
They both sat there for some time neither saying a word yet there were many thing floating through the air that may not have been said yet they were being heard.
"Why do you do this?" She finally asked.
"Why do I do what?"
"This, everything! Why are you trying so hard to help me? Have you ever considered that maybe I just don't want help?"
To this question there was no anwser, for he had asked himself this same question ever since she had arrived.
He then rose from his seat and motioned for her to follow him.
"Where are we going?" She asked not really scared just curious.
He remained silent, only the sound of his boots clicking on the stone floor and echoing throughout the hall.
