After reading Three Cheers for Five Years' fics I wanted to try my own hand at describing Axel's feet. Its short and kinda pointless but I'd appreciate your comments none the less. There are probably a load of mistakes, feel free to point them out to me and I will correct them, right now though I'm too tired.

Warning: If you don't like feet turn back now.

Disclaimer: In the history of atom have they ever focussed entirely on Axel's feet? No? Well that alone should be proof enough that I don't own it.

It was ridiculously early in the morning and Lioness was up getting herself a drink of water. She padded silently down the corridor, the tails of her nightshirt flapping against her thighs. She was just passing the bedrooms of the other Alpha Teens on her way to the kitchen when she spotted a light shinning from under Axel's door.

Pausing for a moment Lioness knocked softly on the wood and called his name. There was no reply and even when she pressed her ear to the door she could here no noise from inside. She considered just going on her way to the kitchen then changed her mind and slowly opened the door.

Axel was lying on the bed asleep. The light on his bedside table was still on and he had a book propped open on his lap. He had obviously drifted off while doing some late night reading and was tangled carelessly in his covers, his feet poking out the end and one arm dangling off the side of the bed. His chest was rising and falling in deep regular breaths, broken only by the occasional snuffle as he shifted in his sleep.

Lioness smiled and closed the door behind her before approaching the foot of the bed and kneeling beside it. From her vantage point she could see his feet clearly and she leaned in to get a closer look. They were large, long but not very wide, curving inwards pleasingly from the balls of his feet to form the arch before moving back out to the heel. His toes were long too, the nails rounded and kept short and clean.

She could see that the skin on the souls of his feet was slightly tougher, calloused at the heels, from years of barefoot Jolan training. This skin was patterned with thousands of tiny grooves that formed whirls and loops on his toes making the footprint that was uniquely his. As she examined his feet she let out a breath of warm air which blew in a constant stream over the sole of his left foot.

She watched in delight as wrinkles creased the bottom of his foot and he arched it, curling his toes over as if to protect it from this gust. Lioness waited, holding her breath, and finally his foot relaxed again, the wrinkles fading away as though they had never been there. She used one finger to gently trace the outline of his foot, smiling when his foot twitched as she reached a sensitive spot on the sole. Then she danced her fingertips over the skin on the ball of his foot, the feather light touches causing it to curl up once more.

"Lioness?" Came Axel's groggy and slightly confused voice as he stirred. He frowned slightly and shifted his foot moving it away from her still exploring hand.

"Hey." She said her voice soft as she was unwilling to break the peaceful quiet of the room.

"What're you doing?" He began to ask but he was cut off by her soothing hushing sound and the finger that she put to her lips. She moved silently up to the head end of the bed, her large honey coloured eyes fixed on his cerulean ones. Lioness leaned in across his chest and for a brief instant their lips met in a kiss, then she stole from the room without a backwards glance.

There. Sickeningly fluffy. R&R please!
