Authors Note: Thank u for reading my story. I very much appreciate it, and there will be other little books accompanying this one. I would like u all to just remember that this is my story, so please don't get mad at me just because I "got the facts wrong". Thank u and have a nice day.--The Author p.s...it has been called to my attention that legolas is about 153 years older than arwen, so please, if u have the urge to make a complaint like that, please reread this authors note.
I peered around the tree. Nothing. I let out the breath I was holding. Why did I have to go over to Mirkwood to meet Legolas? I rounded the next turn in the path. I was thinking, why can't Legolas just forsake his warrior ways and come visit me in Lórien? I wasn't looking where I was going, and I tripped over a root. I looked around. Nothing heard me except a bird. Or so I thought.
I was a girl of sixteen, and I was visiting my mother's family in Lórien. In a month, I would be going back to Rivendale, where my father, Lord Elrond, governed. I could feel something was wrong, so I begged my father to let me go to Lórien and let me look into Galadriel's mirror. Galadriel was my grandmother, and my grandfather was Celeborne. When I got to Lórien, I found my grandmother with her mithril ring with an Elvin stone in it. She smiled at me, knowing why I came. She also acknowledged that my mother, Celebrían, was with me. She knew that I was worried, so she said I could stay as long as I wanted. So I asked my mother how long I could stay, and she said that she had to get back to Rivendale. My grandfather said that it would be ok if I stayed with them, and send me home with an escort to Rivendell when I wanted to go home. My mother bid me farewell, and in elfish she said to me," Lle naa vanima, Melamin." which means, "you are so beautiful, my love." Then she said to me,
"Take care." "I will, and Aa' lasser en lle coia orn n' omenta gurtha."

Have you ever found yourself wishing that your life was somehow...different? That's how I felt. I wanted to go on an adventure, go somewhere that was dangerous...I wanted to get out of Elvin nobility, and have an adventure. I felt like I was a bird in a guilded cage, and i wanted to break free of that cage. When the Elves from Mirkwood came, I found someone that would give me the greatest adventure of my life. Legolas.
