Natsume´s first thoughts about Mikan when she first entered their classroom.

That moment as she stepped into the class with a bright, cheerful smile on her lips and magnetic hazel eyes, he knew she would be someone special to him.

Ruka had told him for years, that maybe, maybe, if he got himself a girl or a new family member he would be more excited and would enjoy activities a lot more. Someone who would make him smile and talk more often would apparently be great for him after school so he could be more open to strangers and doesn´t seem to be rude as most people would say he is. And now here she was, the polka-dotted-panty-girl with a big smile and childish pigtails, ready to make him to a better person.

Problem was- she already hated his guts and this girl seemed to be stubborn and stupid, so this case could just be thrown in the trash.

Besides, she didn´t even know her own Alice and she probably didn´t have one either, she was just after Imai. If she didn´t have an Alice, of course she would be out of this school any second now.

So why was he so hypnotised by her eyes, who shined like all the stars in the universe and who were so gentle like the sun on a spring morning? Why was he so attracted to those eyes of hers, they were like a spell he got under and he couldn´t get out of this... curse.

His facial expressions didn´t change the whole time, he just stared blankly at her and wondered how she felt in front of the class, how she felt when she was scared, how she felt being watched by the whole school, basically just how she felt about things that weren´t completely normal, because that was his way of thinking, the most random and logical way possible.

She got to sit beside him and his first impression of her personality was more and less that she was annoying as fuck. Such a waste, really, of such a beauty she really had to screw it up with being a rude ass childish girl-scout with no talents.

But still, he was interested. She was new and the fact that she came to this school, this awful, dangerous and perverted school just to see her friend Imai proved loyalty and a lot of stubbornness.
