Chapter 1

"No. No, I'm done with Gods and monsters and quests." Percy told Chiron, they were in front of the infirmity. Chiron was trying to convince Percy to let Apollo stay with him as the whole Apollo Cabin was complaining about their father threatening their boyfriends or girlfriends and trying to give them advice in bed.

"Percy, please. I will never ask a thing of you again and the complete Apollo Cabin will be in your debt" Chiron begged.

"For you. But I never want to see a god or goddess again" Percy said before going inside to tell Apollo the news. Will thanked him profusely saying that he was giving them all multiple headaches.

Back at the Jackson-Blofis house hold, Apollo sat on the couch while the family talked in the kitchen.

"After everything the gods put you through?", asked Paul, voice an angry rumble. "After everything the gods put your mother through? No. No, you said you were done with this."

"Right now, he's not that different from me. And I don't mean the whole mortality-thing. Zeus just screwed his life over, much like Hera did. He's defenceless, all on his own, got ripped away from his home and the people he cares about on Olympus. He has no one. Much like I did when Hera took me, mom. And the camp have had it with him staying there!" Percy defended him.

"Either way, I'm not sure if I want him here around Estelle if the camp kicked him out." Sally told him, shaking her head.

In the other room Apollo stood. He could hear everything, the walls were thin and their voices weren't exactly quiet. He moved over to the door he knew was Percy's and opened the window, climbing out.

"Please. Just let me help him!" Percy pleaded to Paul and Sally. They looked at him long and hard before giving in. They walked back into the lounge to find an empty room and an open door and window.

"Shit" Percy muttered before bolting out the front door and down the street, hoping he knew Apollo well enough to know he would go the opposite way from camp.

When he spotted him, he was walking threw the park, head down and shoulders hunched.

"APOLLO! Where are you going?!" Percy yelled and Apollo stopped. Percy stopped a few feet away.

"I was dying to hear someone say that I didn't need to try so hard to be perfect. That I was enough, and that was ok. But it hurts knowing I tried my best and still wasn't good enough" Apollo said softly, so much so that Percy had to take a step closer, though Apollo still had not turned around "even my children don't want me". It broke Percy's heart to hear that from him but he knew he was partly responsible for making him feel that way, Percy had had a crush on Apollo since he had first meet him. It had been one of the reasons he and Annabeth broke up. But he had an idea what to say to fix it.

"You're good enough for me. You always have been. I've had a crush on you for years but I always thought you shined so far above me that I never had a chance. You are perfect to me, even if your dad can't see what I do" Percy told him confidently. Apollo turned to face him. His blue eyes were filled with pain and sadness but there was a small twinkle of hope. One Percy want to make grow.

"No matter what anyone ever says to you, you are perfect and you should never change the way you are. It's why I fell in love with you in the first place." Percy said and before he knew it he was lying on his back in the grass with a son of Zeus on top of him, pressing their lips together.

"This may sound weird and creepy, but I've loved you since you came to give father back his bolt. You showed no fear and your eyes were so beautiful and joyful." Apollo Told him after he pulled back an inch.

"Then how about we give this a go? I'll be good enough for you and you can be good enough for me." Percy suggested and Apollo agreed.

"You're not such a kelp head after all" Apollo smiled as bright as his sun.
