Dear,
DISCLAIMER: I OWN ONLY MY OCS
-set in Oliver's final year-
November 9, 1993
We lost. To Hufflepuff. We were so close too. But Harry fell off his broom. A good fifty feet from the ground might I add. Luckily Dumbledore was there I guess. But Harry was so close. I mean the weather was disgusting and all, but still… Its a shame. But the person who's taking this the hardest is Oliver. He practically beat himself for it and literally tried to drowned himself in the showers. Kat told me that Cedric offered him a rematch, but he declined the offer. I guess that's good sportsmanship? I don't know. Kat says he really wanted the rematch, but knew it wasn't right. Hufflepuff won fair and square. Or so he says.
I'm so tired. I don't even want to think about tomorrow. It's going to be hell. I just know it. Oliver probably wants to increase our practices too. I really wished he would just care about school a little bit more sometimes so that he could care less about Quidditch. He wants to go professional and has already sold his heart and soul to the sport. Why couldn't we have a less Quidditch-crazed captain? Kat says that's just how he is. She once told me that they were once working on a Potions assignment together and he would even try to relate it to Quidditch. Fred says it was an assignment that no one could ever forget. I don't know exactly what happened, but apparently she got so mad at him that she yelled at him. And even ignored him. It was the talk of the house. For almost three weeks too, I think. I wish I knew more about it. I wasn't old enough to go to Hogwarts then. Too bad. Kat rarely ever loses it. Maybe they'll be working on another assignment together and he'll try to do the same thing. And then maybe I'll be able to see Kat get angry. Or even better, he might feel bad and cut down on practice. Hah. Wishful thinking. Oliver probably learned his lesson.
Well, its getting quite late and we have early morning practice tomorrow. I should probably go to sleep now. Lets just hope tomorrow will be a good one. Good night.

Oh who was I kidding? For the past two weeks Oliver was literally slaving the bloody hell out of us on the pitch. I asked Kat if she could do something about, but she just laughed and told me, "that's Oliver for you. No one can stop him now." Thanks. Seriously though, a little help would be nice. They're in same year, yet they're so different. Kat's taking five N.E.W.T. courses and Oliver well… And Percy... He's just all Prefect perfect. Bloody hell. They're all in the same year and same house, but how are they so different?
At least I had fun at Hogsmeade this week. Angelina, Alicia and I went shopping and then met up with Fred and George at Three Broomsticks. Kat decided not to come with us because she had to work on her Herbology report and Oliver split to go look at Quidditch stuff. Honestly, Kat has some really bad luck. Her Herbology class is with the Slytherins who are taking N.E.W.T. courses as well. And her partner for the report is also a Slytherin. Sometimes she jokes that she should have just been sorted into Slytherin but Oliver always says that's not something she should joke about. There's a saying that "There's not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin", but Kat always argues that it doesn't mean that not all Slytherins are bad. She's my sister and everything, but that's something even I find hard to agree. I mean, take a look at Draco Malfoy, or better yet Marcus Flint. That git gives me the shivers. He's also the worse when it comes to Quidditch, always using cheap tricks to win.
There isn't much happening here. Its all the same - classes, practice, classes, practice, and repeat. I have a test for Charms tomorrow so I should probably get studying.

Hogsmeade is this weekend and I'm excited. Its been a while since we went out to relax. I was talking to Angelina and Alicia about what to do there and we suggested that we should get a calming potion for Oliver. Fred and George said they were on board even though we were just joking. Knowing them, they might actually go and get that for him. Better them than us I guess.
I should probably use this time to get Christmas gifts. I already know what I'm going to get Angelina and Alicia. Fred and George will probably be easy. Just get something fun I guess. Kat probably wants a book or something. Or I think she said something about wanting a new quill. I don't remember. And do I even want to even want to get something for Oliver? Kat says I should, especially since he's been my captain ever since I started here and that its his last year. He's a nice lad, but sometimes I don't know how she can stand him. They've been friends for so long, well, ever since they both started here. They don't really argue much, only a couple times. Or so I've heard. There was this one time in her third year that Kat was caught snogging a chaser from the Slytherin team and Oliver went mad. To the point where he even used her full name. Kat said he wouldn't stop scolding her and kept going, "Katrina Bell, do you even know what you were doing? Snogging someone in public. And to add that its a bloke from Slytherin. Slytherin!" He was a fifth year apparently. A good looking one at that too. I don't know if they actually gone out, but after that incident, they never talked to each other again. He's an Auror now I think. I don't really know much about him, but I think his name was Liam Thompson.
I should probably stop for today. I still need to get ready for bed. Hopefully I'll be able to get everyone's gift this weekend.
Its my first time writing a fanfic. And its also my first time in a long time doing any kind of creative writing.
Please RxR !
