Zuko watched Katara through the trees. He just wished more than anything that he could hold her. Well, he decided he'd finally do something about it, so he quickly slid the mask over his face.

After he managed to convince Katara that he wasn't there to harm her they talked. He felt like things could be okay and he didn't know why. He really didn't want to leave.

Zuko lifted the mast a little and leaned in. Katara met his lips with her own. Soon the mask was forgotten and they were tangled up in each other.


And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand

When they finally broke away Katara asked, "Why do you hide?"

Zuko was surprised by this question and answered, "Besides the fact that my own sister is out for my blood along with about the whole fire nation?"

Katara giggled. "You've got a point but why did you hide from me?"

"Because I thought you'd beat me before I could ever get a word out." Zuko smiled.

When everything's made to be broken

"I am glad I don't have to hide." Zuko smiled quietly

"Me too." Katara agreed with a smile of her own.

Zuko kissed Katara again passionately.

'Its just like the stories Gran Gran and the other old ladies used to tell.' Katara thought.

And I don't want the world to see me
