Derek's POV:
What have I been doing the past 30 years?! Long story short, I meet a girl who's the definition of innocence. I kill her friends, wanting to kill her as well, but she escaped. Once she got a job at the pizzeria, we reunite, but she found out who I was...though she soon forgot due to Mangle biting off her frontal lobe. She remembered 6 years later, though this cost me her friendship.
So here I am, sitting outside the shutdown pizzeria, regretting everything I've done. I then think about her old friends I mentioned. I turn to the entrance in realization. They'll probably never see Darlene again...
I unlock the doors with my spare key and sneak into the back room (and by sneak, I mean break the wall down with my bare hands). Luckily, no one heard me. I head over to the phone, calling someone who might miss me if things go wrong.
"Hello?"
"Lavender...sweetie...There's a chance I might not come home..."
"Okay. See you tomorrow."
"No, Lavi. I mean I might not come home...at all."
I hear a gasp. "You kidding?"
"No... I'm sorry, but I'm not. If I don't make it back tomorrow if not tonight...just know I love you. You'll always be my sweet daughter... If you need company, you can always go to Maria's place."
"I'll stay," I hear her say as she sobs, "I'll stay in this house. I'll stay with you. Goodbye..."
"Bye, Lavi..." I say before hanging up. I then walk over to the table and grab an axe.
I know what must be done...
