Draco watched Hermione from the other side of the great hall. Even though they always met in secret and he always used spells to hide who he was he just wanted to believe that she could feel him.

"You know I don't want to go back right now." Draco whispered in Hermione's ear after one of their dates out by the lake.

"Yeah, I know." She smiled sadly.

"You're the best thing that ever happened or ever will happen to me." He hugged her.

She just buried her head in his chest.

He tried to hide the best he could. With his father and everyone thinking he was a death eater. He didn't go out of his way to make fun of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. It drew to much attention.

Suprisingly Hermione didn't get mad or scream or anything. She just smiled at the sight of Draco's face. She had braced herself for the tears of disappointment but they never came or even threatened to fall. She saw genuine love in Draco's silver eyes. It was just like a muggle romance movie. It was just perfect.
