There he stands absolutely flawless. His pale face gleaming in the dim sunlight. He looked around and smiled; his buck teeth showing. With a laugh he ran to her, the snow crunching under his feet. She laughed and let him tackle her to the cold ground.
Seattle was a snowy place in winter time, well maybe not the bustling city but the suburbs. He rolled next to her and smiled. Her hair twisted and tangled between the latest layers of snow. Her yellow orange jacket was the brightest of the cool colors outside.
He had a baby blue jacket on protecting him from the cold. He sat up and looked at her. His blue eyes pure and happy, just as hers were. Things were happy. She sat up and touched his cheek. "I love you." He murmured.
A shiver ran through her. "This isn't real. This is just my imagination. Why, why do I do this to myself? Pretend that I can have the one person who I love. God I'm an idiot." She exclaimed. The color faded from him and the snow disappeared. She stood in the black void.
The color in her eyes fading from the cerulean blue to a blank white. "Maybe one day that will happen. In another timeline hopefully…." She muttered.
